We arrived early hours of Weds am and were provided with a room and 5 single beds, no wall decorations, no kettle, fridge etc. We had a toilet, a shower and a sink with no plug. We were told not to open the windows as it was unsafe for the children, so no fresh air. Thank goodness for air conditioning as the weather was hot. Also, another surprise on arrival was that they wanted a further payment to complete the charge for the apartments and to cover the following six days stay. We thought we had paid for the seven days when we booked the apartment via booking.com but were told that a payment for the first day had been taken and they needed to take the balance upon arrival, apparently in the small print??? We had never heard of this before. When we complained about the facilities we were asked "why did you book with us, as our rooms are only for single people, hens or stags?" We explained that when we booked we were asked via booking.com how many adults, children and their ages and their hotel came up as suitable. so didn't expect very basic and limited facilities. Never again will we book this hotel. We didn't expect luxury but there was no lift and we had six flights of stairs to our room at the top of the building. Eventually after 2 1/2 days we were moved to an apartment which was lovely, however, who wants this disruption during their holiday. We had to pay 50 euro deposit. Also, another family were moved prior to us arriving as there was an elderly family member in their group who struggled with the stairs?? How can they take bookings for people with children or the elderly. If their premises aren't suitable?? On our day of departure the apartment was checked for damages and we received our deposit back. We left our luggage in the hotel reception and we offered the use of their toilet as we had a late night flight.
Some of the family where helpful and we were moved to an apartment after 3 days.
