Score from 424 reviews Excellent
- Big (really big) room; - Good location: 10 min. by walking both to city center & train station;
Even were very tired after a long day of traveling - it was almost impossible to sleep there: "double bed" mattress was laid on 2 unconnected single bed bases: all this system was "dancing" all the night while bases were sliding on the floor
Just about everything. Sheets too small for the beds, dirty curtains, hole in the wall, seal missing from the basin plug. Had to ask for the sherry and fruit which was part of the package. No sign of the Pillow menu or the aromatherapy mattress and the breakfast was average. Will not stay there again.
Good location near center and railway station
bar was not open during our stay
clean and modern
so hi tech difficult to work out 1) how to use the shower 2) where the shower switch was 3)where the aircon controler was and how it worked 4) noisy at the front over the road 5) no bath
Hotel has been modernized and the room had all the features advertised. Shower area was very good. Staff was friendly and cooperative.
Bathroom area was a bit cramped other than the shower. We had to change rooms to get good wifi service.
The manager upgraded us to a very nice room Nice walk into the centre of town Very good breakfast
Quirky close to main areas to visit Lovely modern room
No porter service
Great value for the money.
Our shower was dripping all night long. To the hotels defense we didn't call down about it. And we had two single beds pushed together which left one of us falling in the crack.
THE STAFF WERE AMAZING. T HE ROOMS WERE SPOTLESS. THE BREAKFASTS WERE OUTSTANDING
Rude , unhelpful receptionist Horrible decor in the room Un filled minibar Ancient bed linen & towels Grubby bathroom Disgusting breakfast General feeling of no one giving a damn about the place or customers
The Hotel was located in centre of town and staff were helpful.
Street noise made it very difficult to sleep especially in summer when you need to have windows open
The location was pretty good with a lot of bars and restaurants close by. If you arrive by train the hotel is ideally suited as it is in walking distance. I would recommed it as it seems that it's one of the better hotels in Jerez and due to the good location.
When we arrived the room obviously had not been cleaned well. The headboard showed fingerprints all over and there was no mattress cover. Just a thin bedsheet with a hole in it. After inquiring with reception we got invited to a drink and since there was no other room available we had to wait around 30 minutes for the room to be cleaned. No mattress cover was available (our friends did have one) and we got two bedsheets instead. Afterwards the room was acceptable. Another inconvenience were the beds. We had booked a double bed. What we got were two beds positioned side by side. However, the floor was slippery and the beds wouldn't stay side by side. So in truth what we got were twin beds. The other rooms I got to see showed the same. Also the WIFI did not work in our room and neither in reception. Our friends did get it to work but poorly. All in all the hotel was acceptable after our room got recleaned but I would definitely expect more from a 4 stars hotel in that price range. Initially the woman at the reception was pretty rude but got friendlier in the end.
Location, value for money and improved breakfast from previous visits
Nothing everything was excellent
Very stylish and clean
staff very helpful room exelkent
the breakfast was a disappointment only one girl clearing and setting up the food with the result there. was never enough food out compared to the last visit very disappointed
never can get wifi in the room
Location was great, five minute walk from station and five minutes from town centre so much quieter than if we stayed in town. It was clean and nice size
Very spacious room. Very nice cot bed for our baby. Lovely staff.
Buffet breakfast. Modern bathroom fixtures. Balcony door eliminated street noise.
TV was small and too low to watch from bed. Toilet paper holder in an awkward, interferring position. Bathroom door was a glass shower door. Double bed was really two beds pushed together.
This is a great hotel a five minute walk from the station and very close to the town centre. The staff are efficient, helpful and friendly. The building has been tastefully converted and is a clever mixture of old and modern. The rooms are large and the beds enormous. The pink chapel/breakfast room makes an impression.
the location, ambiance of the hotel and staff at reception very nice , friendly and helpful
hotel advertised having free wifi, but when I got to my room number 106 no wifi reception at all. complained at the reception and was given another room, where I did have reception but not really all the time. Downstairs in the lobby was the best reception.
Room was very clean and breakfast was good. Great location for walking around the old town. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Aircon in room wasn't great. Dials seem to be wired incorrectly, sun = cold air and snowflake = warm air....?! Wifi was a little patchy.
Equidistant, ie less than 10 mins walk, from train/bus stations and sights of old town. Quiet, clean and very new.
No wifi in room
The hotel is mordant with all u needed in the room.
Is was in the middle of the square, it got loud in the morning with traffic passing the cobble floors.
room comfort, proxiity to town center
terribly slow internet connection with all available Wifi substations, breakfast (no fresh orange juice , broiled eggs with sugar !!)
