Hotel Jaime I  

We arrived very late in the season, which suited us as we had two small children. Enjoyed the hotel very well. Weather was great and so was the pool area. The playground, I loved, but the kids loved more!! There was a little kiddies disco every night for the very small ones ( in high season probably not so little). 5 mins to beach and strip. Breakfast was a bit manic but we got the hang of it. Loved the hotel but in high season it may not be as suitable. But for October with kids I would go again.

The good out weighed the bad. We had a lovely time there but a few things bothered us a little. The rooms were very basic. We travelled Ryanair so you bring as little as possible! There was no shampoo just a dreadful little bar of soap that may have been plastic!!! A kettle in the room would have been great, as the coffee in the machines in the restaurant was not what you may expect.Crazy golf is €3 per person. Indoor pool is €1.50 per person, but don't rely on it with small kids as there is no shallow end. Coming from Ireland, we expected tea/coffee facilities, soap and at least shampoo!

lovely hotel would go back with friends again.ive 4 young kids they would love the pools and the big playground but they cant fit 6 in the room :( .entertament wasnt any good sorry .but had a ball with the four girls .thanks

The rooms were clean and spacious and the bathrooms were newly decorated and very clean. Breakfast choice was vast there was something for everyone although it was very busy around 9am and quite hectic, I would recommend attending breakfast when first opened. The pools and activities were excellent for young groups and families. Bar prices very reasonable. Very close to beach. Trains from Salou to Barcelona took 1.5 hours and a return ticket cost around 15euro'S. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

the lunch and the dinner meal very good, the beakfast basic just ok the heated pool spa and the size of the room is good and good price

hotel no free wifi is bad in this day they charge 2 euro for a locker and you better bring your own shampoo or shower gel in this hotel

Very good value for money, clean, food was very good and room sizes acceptable would definetly reccomend it !!

pool bar staff ok but one guy in the bar in the pool area very rude only wanted a glass of ice he refused offered his blood instead mmm not a nice guy.

The location are very excellent and animation was good and it was very near from the city and shopping center also near from the bus to go tarragona NOTE : when you go from Barcelona to Tarragona , please don't try to go by Train ( Renfe) pleas take the bus as the train is very dangerous as I have been robbed in the Train and I did not found any support when I saw the police when I was in the station

The food was not good essential if you are muslam all was by Ham even if fish , they made it with Ham accordingly, if you don't eat ham don't reserve with food , reserve only Bed and Breakfast But if you eat ham the food will be good for you Finally the hotel location and rates and facilities was good.

The room was quite basic but was serviced every day with clean towels etc.All extras came with a price tag.The beds were clean and quite comfortable as was the bathroom.All in all we thought it a little overpriced for what we got.

We thought the price somewhat excessive for a quite basic room.
