Score from 2104 reviews Very good
Lovely hotel with large very clean rooms. Kitchenette was great and the staff were exceptional with the restaurant serving a good breakfast and good quality meals when you want something other than tapas. Easily the place to stay in Madrid if you don't mind 20min walk to city centre
How could you complain about a place like this!
- staff was very kind - location - decoration of room
- there was problem in kitchen
Great location in Madrid! The rooms were clean, beds very comfortable and nice rainfall shower head with good water debit. Room had a kitchenette which could be useful for certain families. Would stay again without any problems.
Great hotel and location, helpful stuff, fantastic restaurant in the garden, great value for money.
Hotel was exceptionally clean, in a great location and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Almost absolutely everything.
It was difficult to dispense the shampoo and bath get and some conditioner would have been nice. (Or I could have bought some:-))
Well positioned. Quiet. Modern rooms, probably recently redecorated. We would definitely stay there again
Tons of closet storage and drawers-would be great for an extended stay! Very clean Great jetted bathtub Free beverages fridge Microwave and fridge Cute patio area Evening staff very friendly and helpful
Day staff didn't even ask about our stay or say goodbye when checking out. Very aloof.
position, staff, food
they close the room service at 11pm, no way to get a bottle of wine for a romantic evening in the terrace after that hour.
On site parking. Well located Very good and varied breakfast Comfy suite with balcony Helpful staff
Lack of privacy on balcony
Breakfast staff just a little bit unfriendly.
Breakfast was very good.
There weren't many comfortable seats in the foyer or restaurant area.
Room spacious modern decor Great location to main Retiro park Staff helpful and friendly Would stay again
No tea coffee complementary in the room Despite kitchen facilities
Stylish, quiet and comfortable hotel. The rooms were a good size and the bed massive, nice to have a seating area for two and facilities for coffee and light meals if needed. Everything was clean and well maintained.
Front desk staff very helpful Lovely shower in the room Breakfast excellent selection including daily cooked options and chose your own omelette. Garden area great.
No tea and coffee in the room
We recently stayed at this hotel a few weeks ago on a vacation. I took my mother and brother on vacation to Spain. I made sure to do my research and prior reviews of this hotel were spot on. The location is great- it is a 5 minute walk to Retiro park and the metro. Samuel at the front desk was invaluable- he was friendly and always willing to give advice or suggestions. The breakfast is repetitive but good- we got it on special for 10 euros a person which was a good value. The restaurant staff were very good as well. The outside garden looked very nice- we were so busy exploring we didnt really get out there to experience it first hand.
The only 2 minor issues we had - there was a small leak from our shower. It was minimal so we kept it to ourselves to avoid a lot of strange repair people coming through the room. The other is that our room was by the elevator so it was a little hard to falls asleep at night hearing the hyrdraulics of it. These things are so minor it would not deter me from staying there again.
- Location. Close to city centre area without being in an extra busy setting. 5 minutes from excellent shopping area. 15 minutes to Prado and other museums. The park is nearby. - Staff. Extremely polite, helpful, they recommended an excellent restaurant.
- We had a room with view to the garden. If you want to leave the window open there is a permanent background noise from a machine that we did not really identify... but it is there and it is noisy :-)
It was our sons wedding in Madrid so everything was important for all our family staying in the hotel.Staff are all excellent especially the front desk and Luis the concierge is a star with a great personality , nothing is too much trouble for him. Rooms are excellent for quality and comfort. The hotel even remembered to wait list me for an extra night and called me immediately, the best staff attitude and customer service I have found in Spain. Garage is very convenient and reasonable for Madrid.Wi Fi was good.Stay here if you are in Madrid !
Front room 104 is over the garage entrance and the drainage grates make a lot of noise when cars go over them, need rubber soundproofing urgently. Street is a bit noisy late on Saturday nights but its not the hotels fault.Think the rear or higher rooms would be better.
Within 1/2 hour walking distance from most attractions, close to touristic bus stations, comfortable beds, good size room...nothing to fault.
All the chrome and mirrors were sparkling not fingerprint to be seen. The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.
Great hotel in good location. Clean, modern rooms and excellent breakfast.
Nothing to complain about.
Good/free Wi-Fi quiet room
A bit overpriced No coffee or tea in the room The matters was not comfortable No iron in the room Bad lighting in the corridor Expensive breakfast
Friendly staff, great breakfast, awesome G&T's on terrace.
Dined in restaurant on two evenings, first meal was very good with excellent service, second not so good as was service different staff!!
We liked just about everything. the staff were welcoming and always helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choice - even for my restricted diet. Their restaurant lunch and evening meals were very good value and really good food. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Location could hardly have been better - walking distance to lots of sites and very close to metro and the overground - the overground connects directly to the airport, terminal 4 Madrid, on the metro you need to change lines. Finally, Madrid is a wonderful city.
