Friendly staff, great breakfast, awesome G&T's on terrace.
Dined in restaurant on two evenings, first meal was very good with excellent service, second not so good as was service different staff!!
We recently stayed for 3 nights to spend time with our daughter-in-law's family who live in Madrid. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was fantastic - loved the little kitchen and the bathroom was very modern and very clean. The sofa in the room was good too - saves sitting on the bed! We had room service for breakfast which was lovely and ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was excellent. We will definitely stay again and recommend it too!
Convenient to what matters, nice restaurants, park, museums yet a walkable distance from the louder areas of Madrid. Very helpful staff.
Parking is convenient but a little pricey
very good sized rooms very well appointed, great having fridge and small kitchen facilities, nice touch with free refreshments provided. staff excellent
The hotel was perfect in every way. Rooms were very large and had all facilities especially the small kitchen section. Breakfast was delicious with everything from fruit to cooked and was beautifully laid out. The outside eating area was a haven. Would definitely visit again
Really nice hotel in quiet location very close to the Retiro park (nice place for jogging or just to walk) and in walking distance to the city center! Nice spacious rooms, with good Wifi connection, excellent breakfast. We received the rooms we asked. We appreciate that very much! And Madrid itself is pleasant and beautiful !
There is a coffee machine but no kettle for making tea water. Maybe we should have asked it!
Everything we experienced at this hotel was exactly as we would have expected from a hotel of this caliber.
There was nothing that I didn't really like.
Very good and not expensive breakfast.
There is a coffee machine and a hob but there is no coffee, tea, milk or sugar like most hotels give. It is a nice hotel but we expected more from a high rated hotel.
quiet street close to sites, hop on/hop off bus
Location, staff, breakfast, room confort.
Poor wi-fi in room. Too hard matress.
The room was superb, large, clean, quiet and very comfortable with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. For us the location was perfect with easy access to the Retiro Park, right next door to the Archaeological Museum and easy walking to many good restaurants. The hotel restaurant is beautifully set in the courtyard with lovely lighting and fountains etc. but the food is somewhat disappointing and overpriced and does not quite come up to the standard of everything else. However, it is a lovely place to eat. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would recommend it to anyone.
The location of this hotel was in an ideal part of town. It made getting in and around Madrid very easy. The staff was top notch and provided great recommendations. Very friendly! Will stay here again!
Bed was a little hard!
+location +breakfast - cooked to order and a great varitey +bed was very comfortable +clean +shower was large
cannot think of anything...
Fantastic suite of rooms Very helpful staff Exceptional value for money Pleasant outdoor retaurant Quality of breakfast Integral car parking Brilliant location within walking distance of tourist attractions
Evening menu was not good value for money, and service not as communicative or helpful as the rest of the staff
The hotel is centrally located in Madrid.Walk out the front door and the city is at your doorstep. The rooms are really big for hotel standard, which was great for us with little kids. Every room has its own sitting area with a small kitchenette. The staff were friendly and spoke reasonable English.
There are limited facilities in the hotel such as a pool etc. We had small children and there was really no where you could take them... We were travelling with another family so we had quite a few kids in tow (7 in all!). I don't think we were very popular with some other guests. That is not really a fault on the hotel itself, just our observation. There are no adjoining rooms either, but as long as your kids are old enough, its not really an issue.
Location , staff , facilities .
Wi-Fi connection, although free, felt more like dial-up
loved the position loved the balcony staff were very helpful room was very big with comfortable bed
Breakfast could have been better
We will choose this hotel next time
In the few hours we were in the hotel, I was impressed with the staff and the location.
The staff at the reception desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely spacious room. Great location close to the city centre on the edge of a nice shopping area and with galleries/museums and a large city park nearby. Excellent value. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
The coffee at the breakfast bar was on the weak side.
Our room had plenty of space for the three of us. While we didn't use the kitchenette, it was nice to have access to a fridge and know that we could cook for ourselves if we wished to. The location is a bit off the beaten (tourist) track, but we liked that. We were still in easy walking distance to the gardens, the Prado, the Thyssen, and the Museo de Arceologico. The Metro was also a quick walk away, so everything we wanted to see and do was easily accessed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was both a cafeteria and a lovely terrace restaurant, which was very convenient. The full breakfast was expensive, so we passed on that, but it was nice to have a place to grab coffee before heading out. We'd stay here again.
The rooms are spacious, light, comfortable and decorated to a high standard with large fridge and complimentary soft drinks. The location is great, very near the lovely Retiro Park and Metro stations. I thought the food was of a high standard and the staff very accommodating. The hotel is very clean with a peaceful ambience.
There is no room service or bar facility after 11pm.
