Great location in a wonderful village. Staff exceptionally helpful. Room spotlessly clean and very comfortable!!!

The old city which is only a few blocks away. The very friendly helpful staff. The food was excellent at the hotel. The bodega was used by locals not just by hotel guests.

Like any city center hotel it was a bit hard to find and parking was a bit inconvenient. But the location more than made up for this.

Booked through Booking.com 5 minutes before arriving at the hotel. Reception was warm & accomodating - giving us a room away from road works without us having to ask. Didn't eat in the restaurant but probably should have.

Reception was excellent, helpful and friendly. Good secure parking. Central situation. Close to shops, restaurants and sea front. Good hotel restaurant. Lovely clean beach within walking distance.

We were not able to eat at the hotel restaurant the evening we arrived. (It was the evening fiesta, so this was perhaps understandable. We did find an excellent restaurant close by).

The room had a nice feel.

Everything else. The hotel has a bar underneath it and is also surrounded by bars on 3 sides. The noise from drinkers and drunks never stopped from early evening right through until 6.am when the street cleaning vehicles arrived. We had no sleep whatsoever! There was only one member of staff on reception who had a queue of people to deal with who were questioning their bills. It took 20 minutes just to be able to ask for a taxi, but we gave up when we had no response and walked.

Proximity to beach and town centre

The hotel has an excellent location. We wanted to travel on Basque Country and San Sabestian was a bit too crowded for our taste. Hondurribia is a great small town, with a great beach and nice bars and places to eat. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking cost extra and is off site, but a 3 minute walk and well worth it if you have a car, otherwise parking is difficult. We did not eat breakfast at the restaurant, as we had a kitchenette to prepare our meals. The family apartment has a washer and dryer. Internet wifi is good and good range of TV options for our kids. We had an obstructed view of the harbor, but was still very pleasant and relaxing. The excellent public beach is about a 20 minute walk away, but it is a great beach. However a walk along the promenade of the harbor is really one a minute or two from the hotel. The Tapas Bar attached to the hotel was very good and reasonably priced.

The family residential apartment has two floors. The floors are connected by a narrow, rickety staircase. Both of the bedrooms are up the stairs and it is difficult to bring luggage up to those bedrooms. Once the bags are upstairs it was okay. Kind of dangerous to use the stairs in the dark.

Difficult to find as the trees had grown over the sign needed to ask people on the street where the hotel was, we were outside. Great location, good reception, lovely rooms and great views of the lively street behind. Great place at night for many tapas and places to eat also close to the harbour to eat and enjoy a night out.Reccomend the breakfast as it was very good.

The gentleman on the desk on arrival was very friendly and most helpful with regards to car park facilities. Also the rooms were very nicely decorated and the bathroom very modern and clean. The view from the balcony was also delightful. Would definitely stay there again!

The hotel was very busy and when we arrived in the restaurant for breakfast there were no tables available. However, the hotel did have access to adjoining bar and we took our breakfast in there. The staff were so busy trying to clear tables that the actual breakfast bar became very sparce and you had to keep asking for essentials to be restocked - ie. water, butter, bread. Having said that, if we had arrived for breakfast 15 minutes later then it would have been a different matter I am sure.

Jauregui was in the perfect location in hondarribia between the ocean and backing onto the main "eat street". Pinxtios were surpurb and from 8:00pm, this place is jumping. The hotel is just a few hundred metres from the old city centre and I caught a non stop bus into San Sebastian from a stop a couple of blocks away. The hotel it's self was top class with extremely helpful (English speaking) staff. Parking is a little way away. Don't ignore the "no parking" signs on eat street. They close it off each arvo and tow away cars still parked there, presumably to be retrieved at some cost to e owner.

Excellent Location , Staff was very helpful , receptionist spoke good english and was very helpful. housekeeping staff was very good .

L'acceuil du personnel. La propreté des lieux. Le lit fait tous les matins. La situation géographique idéale pour vivre au coeur de cette petite ville de pêcheurs. Les travaux sont bien loin de l'hôtel qui reste malgré certains un lieu calme.

Pas de grand lit disponible. Un voisin très bruyant se croyant seul au monde à 6 heures du matin. Attention ! Très difficile de se garer gratuitement !

Situation geographique

Je le connais de longue date, il y a quelques 15 ans. Bien apprécié le nouveau look, déco sobre , bon goût.

Chambre propre, spacieuse et lumineuse. Très bon emplacement. Personnel aimable. Petit déjeuner varié, excellent café.

Mauvaise isolation phonique d'un étage à l'autre. (ménage à 6h30?). Propreté douteuse de la salle de bains et impossible d'avoir de l'eau très chaude. Lit trop dur.
