Hotel Jazz  

The staff is very, very helpful and pleasant to deal with, the rooms are well appointed, very clean, and functional. The wifi worked well and was mac: friendly. The hotel is centrally situated and has good access to the metro and busses. It is also easy to walk to many many of the sites. I would recommend the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location - only a 2 min walk from La Rambla and the bus stop for the Aerobus. Room was surprisingly big for a city centre hotel. Beds were very comfortable. Nice big wardrobe, fridge in the room with a mini bar - which we used to keep some fruit and water in. Massive bathroom. Pool area on the 8th floor looked lovely, we only had a drink up there one evening. Didn't use the restaurant as plenty of lovely places to eat in Barcelona. You can hear the metro going under the hotel occasionally but nothing that would disturb you or your sleep! But might be wise to have a room on a higher floor - ours was on the 5th and we could still hear it. The staff were lovely too, very helpful

Perfect location. About 7 minutes walk from La Rambla and Placa de Catalunya which is basically the center for all tours (bus, walking tours). Clean and minimalist design.

We stayed for 4 nights. 2 afternoons after our tours...the cards won't work in the elevator, so we couldn't go into our room and had to get the cards renewed at the front desk, and the next afternoon, the elevator was repaired, and we were pointed to the stairs. Thank god we were only on the third floor. We got a room across from an "office" which is where the housekeeping keep all their stuff, and we could hear them talking loudy from our room at all hours. And 2 nights, at 9pm, they knocked on our door and when we opened, only said:"Sorry, no check out." Why not check their list first to see if the rooms were occupied before randomly knocking on guest doors at night?

Location, easy relaxed atmostphere, helpful staff. Comfortable. Good value breakfast, very clean.

It would have been helpful to have extractor fan in bathroom - very steamy!

Hotel is clean. Beautiful setting. Close to everything. Beds are comfortable. Staff is nice.

The location was excellent for all the major tourist spots. It was central but still felt very calm and quiet from the noise of the street.

There were no tea or coffee facilities in the bedroom which would have been appreciated. The lighting in the bathroom was not good for putting on your make-up .........

Perfect location, 5 min walk from Las Ramblas, the Barcelona bus Turistic Blue line stop was just around the corner, nice places to eat close by & easy to catch a cab on either side of the hotel.

The location of the hotel was fantastic. The staff friendly and helpful , and the room décor , and bathroom was modern and comfortable . I would highly recommend the Jazz Hotel, and would not hesitate to stay there again .
