Hotel Jerez & Spa    

Location was good

Old, out of date, run down furniture and installations. This is max 3 star not 5. Breakfast is low quality and over priced.

We choose a tour which advertised at the hotel which wasn't part of the hotel at all that was good

The soposing relaxing spa was unsupervised and had tiny kids jumping in including the jacuzzi with spaghetti floats so we where unable to enjoy the spa, the shower in our room fell to pieces as soon as you switched it on, the waiters did give much options on what to eat they were very quick to dismiss what we wanted, and on one of the nights a wedding party the music was that loud it kept us up all night even though we were on the third floor all in all a horrible experience and waste of money I wouldn't recommend it to anyone it lack in a lot of things for a 5star hotel and felt cheated out of our money! We left a complaint letter but I don't think it was even seen too!

The staff is very friendly. The hotel is spacious and the food is good. Nice gardens and nice pool.

The maintenance is poor though ... my balcony door didn't close properly which gave a nasty draft in the evening. Soms parts of the hotel (like the bathroom) look and probably are, very old.

we felt that because of the time of year details were not as good as they should have been.

We chose the hotel because we wanted to make use of the spa. It turns out the spa has nothing to do with the hotel. Hotel guests have to pay to use it, there were no towels available and it was only open for three hours on sunday! Disappointing to say the least.

The room

Rooms were lovely and spacious, view of the pool. Beds very comfortable.

Lighting in the bar and restaurant too bright. TV on while eating was very offputting, we had to ask for it to be turned off, no background music.

The REAL ESCUELA ANDALUZA DE ARTE ECUESTRE was very close by which was our main reason for visiting Jerez. Staff very good.

It was a bit too far from the old town than we would have liked. The room was very hot,and the air con didn't seem to function. Overall the facilities were good.

We only stayed for 1 night but we all wished we were there for longer ! We did not use the spa / pool facilities so cannot comment on those; but the hotel itself was excellent in all areas . We had a very good evening meal, with a very satisfactory house wine (at a reasonable price). The room price was VERY good.

Very clean and excellent food

We enjoyed our stay so much at this Hotel. The room was excellent and the staff really helpful. The price was so reasonable for a 5 star hotel. The cleanliness could not be faulted. We haven´t anything negative to say about our stay. Loved the Hotel and Jerez.

Great hotel with relaxed atmosphere and spacious areas. Free Wi-Fi. Excellent pool. Very good breakfast.

We had a special offer and it was excellent value for money. Great location, far enough outside city centre, but near enough to walk. Great room overlooking the excellent pool.

I asked for flowers in the room for my wife's birthday. They never arrived. We had to ask for tea making facilities, although these were supposed to be included.

Location and car parking

Expensive prices at bar and for room service and breakfast. Additionally in terms of quality this is not a 5* hotel as advertised; quite tired, dated.

Courteous staff

Great swimming pool.

30 minutes walk from the centre of Jerez. Room was clean, bathroom not, we found a large amount of hair all over the place.

Restaurant food was excellent, a great pool, staff always attentive and not all bothered by my appalling lack of Spanish. Nothing was too much trouble, even at tail end of season, all requests dealt with politely and promptly. Will stay there again.

Maybe a bit far from town centre, but moving it could be a challenge!

Lovely room and welcoming staff

The breakfast was poor! Poor coffee, poor bread etc, limited fruit selection. Not a patch on other cheaper hotels. They need to look at this.

The pool was really big and the poolside area was spacious and clean. The hotel provided towels for use at the pool. The rooms were dated but still very nice. The resturant was very smart and pretty, and the service was good.

The service at the bar was slow. The cocktails we bought during happy hour were of a very low standard. However we were only there for one day so this may have been a one off.
