Hotel Joya  

Small hotel in a good location in a quiet area but only a short walk to bars and restaurants in the old town. Good size rooms. We had corner room overlooking pool with large wrap-around balcony. We stayed mid May and loved the heated outdoor pool. Hotel guests mainly Spanish so food and entertainment was more geared to them but still plenty of choice at Dinner which was quite acceptable although not perhaps the same standard and choice as a 4 star. Always a fish choice. Good price for a 2 star hotel which I certainly would have rated higher.

Breakfast mainly continental which was a little disappointing. A nice fried or scrambled egg would have been very welcome.

This hotel is incredibly good value for money. Like many other's have said, it seems to me it should have more than a 2* rating. The room was very clean and the bathroom was also quite modern. The public areas of the hotel have been recently renovated and are very nice. We didn't use the pool but again, it was all very clean and tidy. We had room only (no meals) but there is a very nice cafeteria downstairs so morning coffee wasn't a problem. We booked parking but didn't use it because there was plenty of parking just outside the hotel. It's a relatively short walk to the beach but far enough away to be nice and quiet at night. Can't beat the place for the price! We highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again.

Can't think of any negatives.

The hotel was more like a 4* than the rated 2*. Perfectly located for shops, bars, restuarants, old town, new town, the lot! The staff were extremely helpful and spoke good English. Would always rebook here, no point looking elsewhere. Rooms where modern, very clean, the whole hotel was new and fashionable.

Friendly helpful reception staff. We emailed them direct a week before travelling to make some minor requests, which they responded to and actioned. Brilliant value for money. Very clean rooms. Maid tidy every day. Good location providing you are happy to walk 15 minutes to the beach/night life. Nice pool and outside bar area with easy to get sun beds. Predominantly catering for the spanish and so occupied - but hay, its in spain. My teenage daughters loved the night life. We would definately return.

Great hotel 15 minutes walk to the beach with good access for everything.we only stayed overnight and missed breakfast as we did not get to bed till 6am so I cannot comment on the meals.i would recommend this hotel to anyone,very nice.

Es un hotel economico y practico, muy bien situado y que ofrece muy buenas prestaciones calidad- precio; ademas tiene piscina, un buen comedor con comida de calidad; me proporcionaron por booking una habitacion con vistas maravillosas a la ciudad y a la piscina; la verdad, muy contento y repetiré en la proxima ocasion

La comida era escasa en cuanto a variedad

Del hotel me ha gustado, todo. Ubicación, limpieza y la buena atención del personal. Lo único que quiero resaltar, es que en los desayunos, faltaba algo más de variedad .
