The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and had great language skills. The breakfast was also good of its type and having a pool relaxation area on the roof is invaluable on a city break especially as the beach is distant/poor

Quiet location, within easy walking distance of lovely Resturants, bars and shops in the Born and old town areas. Tourist bus stop the end of the road for sightseeing further.

Room was much smaller than on pictures. Windows would only open a few inches .

Great hotel to stay in - the staff where very helpful and friendly We were very happy with our six day stay in Barcelona, convenient to everything in the city. A special thanks to the staff's caring and patient nature in helping us navigate our first time in Barcelona- it was very much appreciated

Location is a major plus and hotel modern and clean.

First room we were allocated had stained carpet and noisy extractor fan by outside window, however reception quickly allocated another room.

The hotel is in a great location: a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the lively and interesting Gothic Quarter. Perfect for a weekend 'City Break'.

Someone else's underwear was on the shelf in the closet...

I thought the staff were very helpful and friendly and spoke excellent English. The buffet breakfast was great, a wonderful selection and the complimentary champagne was a nice touch! Didn't get to use the swimming pool unfortunately due to rain but it looked so inviting! The room was lovely and the bed so comfortable.

Nothing, apart from, we could have done with more milk on the tea/coffee tray in the room

Excellent location for those who wish to explore the best part of Barcelona's historic downtown core. Easy walking distance to a myriad of excellent restaurants!

The bathroom's walls are made from frosted glass which offers only limited privacy or sound insulation. Make sure you turn of the TV, or else you had better be very comfortable with your room-mate!

Awesome breakfast buffet! Best we've ever seen anywhere. Staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to Barcelona. Accommodations throughout are five star.

We had executive double room and it was a lot of space and it was very good. But our room hadn't not one drawer boxes - not in bedside-tables not in wardrobe not in room table. It was uncomfortable. And room safe is so high - оnly for tall. But at the same time case with tea cups and glasses is almost room floor. One must to bend down to bring cups and tea-maker packs. Room space logistic not think through the end.

It is a beautiful,very comfortable, super clean, quiet and amagnificent breakfast, it is in walkable distance to all the city's amenities. We used a taxi cab only once while staying there and is was after a dinner- flamenco show at Pueblo Espanol.

I don't know what happened but the confirmation for the hotel was different (much higher) than what it had shown in the process pf booking. It was suppossed to be $600 for the 3 nights and it ended being 600 eu. We did not complained because I had not reviewed the email until we checked out. I had just printed the email and put it in a folder without reviewing it at the time of booking. So that was a disappointment. I guess I need to be more careful next time.

whilst awesome in pressure and design, if we had it on too strong, the shower drain would block.
