Very good hostel. A nice staff, clean and good location
Sehr hilfreiches und freundliches Personal. "Thank you for your help with the Bus to the Monte Galinerio!"
good, big, clean and quiet room but no opened window. good kitchen. wifi in room. has power plug and light next to every bed.
when checked in, no one at reception, waited over 15 mins for a staff came back. no locker. cannot adjust the room´s temperature. no soap in toilet.
24 hours front desk. Free WiFi. clean. Helpful staff
Had to pay for a towel. It is really a hostel which will sell a room for individual use. Had to make the bed and not especially comfortable, but for a late arrival early departure was fine.
Very good, staff helpful
Location is close to the city centers
No lockers The water pressure was no high enough (A lot of rain)
Very noisy as Accomodation is only suited for backpackers and large families or groups. Noisy type dormitory environment. Breakfast was disgusting , - dining hall looked as if a food fight had taken place - ranout of coffee - never again !!!! Worst experience ever booked out early and found alternative Accomodation .
The place was clean and there is free parking in the street. The receptionist was nice. Unfortunately the good finishes here…
- Awful experience! The hostel is a very big and modern building far from the city centre. The treatment is the one of an old style hostel: no free towels, you are given the sheets and you have to make your own bed and the air conditioning is a joke! There is central air conditioning but the policy of the hostel is to turn it on just a few hours per day, in the evening from 20 to 21 more or less, and the guests cannot use it freely. So if you book a double room “with air conditioning” as we did be aware that there is no such thing! The room at night was an oven in summer and there was no possibility to open a window either (there was a window in the upper part of the wall with no opening option (this is the so called “city view” in their descriptions of the rooms). We weren’t the only guests with such problems; we saw several rooms with open doors during the night with people trying to sleep in them (we arrived at night at the hotel). We complained and decided to cancel our second night at the hotel and we were not given the possibility until we spoke directly with Booking.com Customer Service which ensured us that we had the right to cancel given the fact that we were given wrong information through their description of the room booked. At least after several e-mails to Booking.com Customer Service the hostel agreed to the complete refund of our stay, refund we are still waiting and more than a month has passed since then… It really ruined our night and for sure we will never ever recommend this place to anyone.
Staff were nice, rooms were clean, quiet place, private bathrooms.
Localization is 20 minutes walking from the shore. Windows do not open.
Both people in the reception on the day of our arrival where incredibly nice and gave us a warm wellcome and good info for the night. Everything was very clean and modern. Easy to get to with the car
The guy in reception the next morning lied to us about the ships that are going to "Islas Cies",he said there was only one company doing the trip and we nearly lost the whole day and 40 euros because of that, as there weren't tickets available for the departure time that we wished for with the company they contacted with, but once we where in the port we saw that with other companies there where still tickets. The problem was that we had to pay for them in advance at the hostel, nearly 20 eur each. The air conditioned works from 21:00 untill 00:00 other so, doing a lot of noise. And in our 4 beds-dorm my bed was the only one with no blanket, was a bit cold...
very good location (close to the bus station) and the building is very visible
no air conditioning in the dorm so had trouble sleeping
The hostel is spacious, staffs is very helpful.
The room don't have windows and the air-conditioning only for very short time. It was inhumanity!
Very modern building, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff, access to cereal/bread/fruit/etc and kitchen to make breakfast for only €3 extra, shuttle service to the airport (for €20, which is dear but not as expensive as a private taxi).
The location is not very good if you're not driving - there's a BIG hill between the station and the hostel - and it was a bit awkward that the electrics all switched off when I left the room, so I couldn't charge my phone while I ate my breakfast (to turn the electrics on, you have to insert your key card into a slot on the wall). I didn't mind sharing toilets/bathrooms, especially for the very reasonable price of the room, but that might put some people off.
It was soo clean. The staff were amazing and the hostel could've been a 4 star hotel!
No lockers for belongings. Although things could be left with staff at reception.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. Clean and modern, super friendly staff, and most importantly, the showers had hot water and were designed so that the water actually stayed in the stall, not getting the entire bathroom wet like so many other hostels I've been in. Definitely recommend staying here!
Brand new. Excellent staff. Excellent equipment
Windows in the room are fix can't open them & I'm claustrophobic...
Awesome hostel! Brand new, clean, comfortable, silent, excellent staff, honestly the best hostel I have visited so far.
The best...the staff, really friendly and helpful. Excellent cleanliness and very good location.
It was out of my expectation. A budget hostel but with so many facilities (can check it out in their website) and the room is huge, whole hostel is very clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. It worths more than what you pay for a budget hostel. Strongly recommended to stay here.
Very spacious, very clean hostel, with standards that are practically those of a multi-star regular hotel. Hostel is very modern looking inside out. Kitchen, bathroom and other common areas are very modern and clean.
A little pricyer than your average hostel (but once you step into the hostel you understand why).
all-new place built specifically for the hostel; clean, fresh, bright interior; fast elevator; key card access to the rooms; 10 minutes from the bus station; 3€ breakfast had tea + coffee, bread + butter + spreads, fruit, milk + cereal, OJ; clean showers with warm water
half hour walk from the train station and 20 minutes from old town; although interior was new and fresh, it felt a little sterile and cold; the heating in the rooms wasn’t very strong at night
