The only (slight) negative is that the floors are tiled so the noise of footsteps from the room above did slightly disturb us in the mornings. That said, I suspect all local hotels suffer from the same issue.
We stayed here for three days at the end of September, staying in room G1 which opened onto the terrace/pool area. The room was large and stylish with a seating area, fantastic funky but effective lighting and a big comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious, bright and well appointed (although a shaving/magnifying mirror would have been nice).
Breakfast was served on a table outside our bedroom door overlooking the pool. A large cafetiere of coffee is always appreciated first thing and the buffet featured a decent variety of dishes although sparse towards the end of the sitting. The lunch/snack menu is inviting and the club sandwich and Caesar salad were both delicious.
The hotel is a five minute walk from the main square in a quiet street, so very central for everything that Soller has to offer. What makes L'Avenida stand out however is the truly excellent service. Nothing was too much trouble. Matthew and Laura were both very knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful when advising and booking restaurants, taxis etc.
