Sitting next to a windmill, these white villas offer superb views over the Andalusian countryside to the Mediterranean. Located on the edge of Vejer de la Frontera, they are 11 km from Barbate Beach.

Nice welcome on a cold evening, clean and pleasant room. Breakfast more than adequate.
Amazing views. Comfortable room and super friendly staff
A very friendly welcome by Dominika, who gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation. The decor and the rooms are very tasteful, and our room had a spectacular view across the old part of town. Lovely breakfast. Our only regret was that we hadn't planned to stay longer. Vejer is a great town and La Botica is a good place to stay.
If you arrive by car, be sure to contact the property in advance - Vejer is a typical Andalusian town with narrow streets, and it is not worth trying to navigate by car inside the city walls, unless you know where you are going!
Excellent peaceful location. Friendly and efficient staff. Whole hotel spotlessly clean. Fresh and pretty decor throughout Fantastic views from our room and from the rooftop terrace.
Freezing cold bathroom as windows didn't fit and wind whistled in. For older people bath could do with an anti slip mat. Limited breakfast choices in small room that was often full when we came down. WiFi only worked in common areas.
The view from the hotel room is spectacular. Situated on a little hill, the countryside and the village of Vejer are literally at your feet. Cosy bedroom too.
Wifi Internet not abailable in the room but only at the reception.
good view from room
No wifi inside rooms, poor breakfast
conveniently located and comfortable and quiet.
We loved the simplicity of La Botica. It had no frills but that was its charm. Also we were able to make ourselves a drink in the little kitchen when we arrived back in the evening. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing comes to mind.
Well located, very nice place with amazing views and good beds (I have back problems..).
Nice clean room, friendly staff, near to a lot of bars
92€ on weekends is to much
Beautiful and very clean place. Normally never book 2 stars but Botica outshined many 4 stars i've visited. And Vejer is just a gorgeous little town. Highly recommend it!
Feels like really living in old Vejer. Great location, awesome views and roof terrace. Very comfortable though far from luxurious. Some might say basic, but I say essential - maybe two or three nights max tho.
I guess not much cupboard space, but who cares?
A wonderful, charming little hostel in the historic center of beautiful Vejer de la Frontera! I enjoyed my stay there so much and I will defnitely come back! Impeccably clean, comfortable and quiet rooms, a fantastic breakfast in the little patio, a wonderful roof terrace with great views over the village and the surrounding area and last but not least extremely helpful and friendly staff!! Being a single female traveller in my late 30s I felt very comfortable there!
Roof top terrace
All I liked
Beautiful, absolutely lovely place!
So relaxed and friendly, basic but everything you needed and appropriate for the area. Amazing roof terrace with lovely views.
Breakfast after more than a few days could get a little tedious but lovely none the less.
The person who welcomed us was super helpful as we were having trouble reserving a train ticket. She spent an hour workingon it for us, and was very pleasant! Super clean! Super central to old town!
We have zero complaints. I suppose some may find rooms are small but so is everything in Vejer dl Frontera it's a very old town after all!
Great location, amazing views.
lovely staff, amazing roof terrace with best views in vejer, beautiful cool courtyard breakfast area. hotel is well placed for the best restaurants in town
Room 12 was small but adequate with the most wonderful views. We discovered the roof terrace and the tea and coffee making facilities.
Strange quiet atmosphere. Breakfast was uninspiring and from the supermarket. We would have loved to have had fresh bread from the local bakery and interesting fruit.
Beautiful room with an incredible view! Breakfast on the terrace was perfect.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Value for money. Breakfast was somehow poor.
A wonderful room with lots of space, good breakfast, and helpful staff.
A little difficult to find, do not try to drive to it, go to the parking first!
The location at the top of the village was nice and central to walk to the bars and restaurants. Our room was at the top of the house with a lovely view over Vejer and surrounding countryside with Lesser Kestrels flying around outside the window.
A bit tricky to drive to, being in the heart of the narrow, steep streets. We parked in the plaza below and walked up the hill to the hostal.
