Hotel La Cala  

The reception staff as found previously were excellent, helpful and friendly

The only thing we found a bind was the means of accessing the hotel particularly when carrying a case it mean't climbing steps to get in or out of the hotel

La Cala is very easy to find on the drive from Alicante and normally car parking is easy within 2 min walk. The hotel is beachside at a nice place with clean water and beautiful fish (snorkeling). The rooms are nice and convenient. WIFI is available and was free using access code, which may cost something on longer stays. Off season the hotel is a very good and price competitive offer.

The heavy suitcase must be carried up steep stairs until the reception, where an elevator is located.

The hotel location is right on the beach, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself very clean. Recommend paying extra for sea view , great balcony gets sun from 12 all day , lovely roof terrace to sit out or in , great views , has computer 1 e for 20 mins . breakfast served until 12 simple but fresh and filling will be using this hotel again

Fab location for the beach. Small and very friendly and helpful staff. Only Continental breakfast served but you could have as much as you like and lady serving food very pleasant. Lovely coffee. The rooms were really nice and comfy and the walls were not paper thin as in most hotels

Friendly, unpretentious & right by the sea.

Nothing really except the rationed continental breakfast & eating area vary sparse.

Staff very helpful, the hotel was very clean. beds comfortable.breakfast was basic but, the food was good.I had to call for a doctor, and rang down to reception,Victor , who was on reception phoned for the Doctor, and kept me informed when he arrived, well done to Victor. Will most probably be going again in the near future.

The hotel was very clean and tidy,it has a great location as right on the beach, with a great cafe underneath, the hotel starts on the 1st floor as cafe bars etc on ground level, but not noisy. If booking I would go for room 302, or 301, as great views over the sea and balcony will get the sun. Breakfast is basic coffee rolls buns etc but it is quality that you get. The staff are all very nice and helpfull.

Small well appointed beach front hotel. Free unrestricted public parking just a two minute walk away. Public bus service every 10 to 20 minutes to the centre of Benidorm. Hotel sells meal vouchers for two good simple restaurants next to the hotel which saves about 30% of the cost of the already very good value menu of the day. The bay beach is well maintained and ideal for families and mature couples.

This hotel is really nice, it has been refurbished to a high standard with rooms overlooking the beach. The staff are very nice and will help you in any way. Very clean everywhere. This is my second stay at La Cala and we travelled down to stay at this hotel, the staff even made sure we had the same room I asked for. Breakfast is perfect. I would stay again. And again.

Parking was difficult

First line hotel with great sea views. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very polite. Had an excellent holiday and the weather was great. Would recommend this hotel, for families beach is on the door step.

La ubicación

El servicio de limpieza empezó a las 9:00 h. de la mañana a dar golpes con las camas de las habitaciones de al lado, arrojándolas contra la pared. No paraban de hacer ruido con la limpieza, estando las habitaciones así mismo mal insonorizadas. El acceso difícil con unas escaleras de entrada prolongadas en las que tienes que subir las maletas sin ninguna ayuda. El precio es barato, pero ya se sabe que lo barato sale a veces caro. No pudimos descansar en el hotel.

Aunque solo pasamos una noche, nos sentimos muy a gusto.

It's located in the outskirts of Benidorm directly on Playa Poniente de Finestraat. It's cosy and relaxing with excellent view of the sea. Everything is within short walking distance, bar,s restaurants, supermarked and shops. Out of high season prices are really fair.

In october some of the activities may close down until spring. WIFI did not work properly.
