Great location. Very historic town and hotel with a great story. Clean, modern room, comfortable bed.

Quite a few stair cases so a bit tricky if you travel w large suitcases.

The hotel located in the city center. My room has a independent rooftop. The room is clean, quiet, big and comfortable. There is a kitchen in my room.

Parking is not convenient.

Great location right in the centre of the old town. Very friendly and helpful owner. And our apartment had a lovely roof terrace with amazing views of Tarifa

Sound-proofing

Have to agree with felix - the two story rooms are so neat! Having a kitchen was nice, and the little plaza is charming. Belin was a doll - my son found the fold out bed uncomfortable so they brought us two more thick blankets to pad the matress and he was happy. When we left Belin gave us a cd of local musicians, and we enjoyed listening to it as we drove off. You cannot drive to ths hotel! Parking is outside the old town walls - but free and not a bad walk in. Just give up and hike in- its worth it.

Would liked to have had a better map of the area before we got there. Gps was no help.

A lovely pension with lots of charm. Great for people who wish to prepare food in their room.

The rooms located upstairs make it difficult to transport luggage.

The noise from the neighbours. The floors and/or walls or not very well insulated.

The room was beautiful and with a perfect location. Had a nice large terrace and large balcony over looking the square.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable but most are so it was expected.

La Favorita had a kitchenette. Also, there were three squares very close to the hotel where there were great markets for fresh food, and in the evenings, bars and cafes.

Central Location , Characterful and Comfortable and good value.

We had a lovely stay at this town house. It is quite different in the layout of the rooms, with the bedroom up a spiral staircase. Belin, the receptionist was just wonderful. We received champagne compliments of the hotel as it was our wedding anniversary. My advice to anyone staying here is to wait for the instructions as to what to do when you arrive . The reception is not manned 24 hrs and so they will come down and take care of you once you have phoned them. But the location is the best. this is a lively town and so the plaza outside can be busy up to 4 or 5 am. Overall Great FUN. We highly recommend it.

Perfect location, atmospheric, lively, full of character - unspoiled square. The hotel is fresh and bright. The room is not as luxurious as it appears on the website, but , very pleasant and good value for money.

A little more sound proofing would be nice - prefer not to hear what other couples are up to! Also, the very tight spiral stair case to the bedroom - Dayree - might be a problem for some.

The location was excellent. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful on every level.

The location is great, the hotel is beautifully designed and the staff, specially Belén, gave us an incredible warm reception and took her time to make us feel comfortable, welcome and "at home". The limited hours of their "working hours" is only on paper: they provide a 24/7 attention with great attention to details.

Our room had a balcony and was facing a lively square, which during the evening is a treat, but at night a real pain, since Tarifa is a party town. Next time we will ask for a room not facing the square, but we'll definitely come back to this hotel.

We arrived past midnight due to rough sea so the boats from Tanger didn't go as scheduled, but were releaved to be met by open doors at the hotel (phoned ahead). We got the lovely room "Yamila", with its own little terrace and sunchairs. The hotel is in a perfect position, facing a small square in an pedestrian area, with beautiful surroundings in pretty Tarifa. There was heating in the room, the room was clean and tastefully decorated - and our host was really nice and helpful.

Wifi internet is weak in most parts of the building, which has very thick walls. So, if internet is critical, this might not be your place; otherwise, it is a gem of a hotel on a small, quiet plaza.
