Friendly staff. Our room was really quiet.
The shower was hot but broken hose let it down. Easy to fix.
Central location, friendly and helpful staff, easy to come and go.
Very small shower cubicle and extremely weak water pressure, uncomfortable bed and noisy.
Wifi working. Bathroom quite clean considering there was only one for the whole hostel.
Need to change the mattress. Only a fan in the bedroom instead of air conditioning.
A clean hostel to sleep, with kitchen (coffee, tea, etc.) and a washing machine at your disposal. Location is also perfect, and hostel staff is very friendly and helpful.
Most of the rooms seem to be tiny and a bit dark. There is no 24/7 reception, so please let the hostel know in advance when you plan to check in. But everything works as advertised.
Very nice place located in the center of malaga. the room was very nice and the cleaning good.
wifi connection doesn't work very well. 1 bathroom available for all guests.
Excellent place (city center, central market, beach, supermarkets - everything was accessible by foot), very friendly staff (they have recommended me some really nice places to eat)
Wi-Fi was quite slow
staff is not available 24/7
the staff is nice and is not the problem, but one person have to clean 20 rooms and that really to much to ask!
everything except the staff! small bathroom, bad sheets where not dry, The bed needs a new mattress.
There is kitchen with fridge available for guests
Getting by car and finding a parking place can be tricky (as it is in general in Malaga downtown), but the staff can give you directions.
The room was very clean and the 2 guys who worked there, David and Massimo, were extremely kind and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay there.
There was only 1 shared bathroom/toilet between a number of rooms and so there were often queues to use it.
Efficient use of space for storage in a small room.
No sink plug provided!
Friendly and helpful stuff, clean, quiet.
Only one toilet/shower. Had to wait a long time.
Very small bathroom, problem with warm water.
Location was good for who likes beeing close to the city center. The 1st room we had was very big and comfortable. Nice little balcony. Allday coffee/tee available. Little computer with internet available, but slow connection. Friendly staff.
1 bathroom including toilet for many rooms - it was always busy and you had to wait until guests finished their shower before you could go to toilet. Shower head was broken and was only temporary fixed but not changed during the whole stay. After every shower the next guest had a broken shower head again. No staff available in the mornings before 11 (to e.g. fix again the shower). No public transport connection to e.g. airport/bus station from close by the hotel. In the room we couldn't connect to WIFI, also password and login details were correct.
Nice place in perfect localisation. Staff was friendly, helpful, and English speaking. Cosy interior, comfortable beds, and extremely cosy quilts! :) Definitely worth recomendation. :)
Some rooms have windows only on corridor... Fortunately we got the one with windows on the street. :-)
Location was very good. Staff was friendly
The shower in studio was really small and wifi wasnt very good in room if not standing next to window.
The little alley where the casa lies is very quaint and quiet. The decor is simple and lovely. In the parallel alley,Gigantes,is a great little cafe for breakfast/lunch/dinner.Staff helpful in casa mata.
Not nearly enough bathrooms/toilets... only one for all upstairs rooms. No tv.
The staff member David is a great lad, helped us move to a larger room and gave hints for places to go. Great location and value for money! 11 out of 10
The staff was wonderful, so very helpful. Overall we are very pleased to have chosen La Casa Mata.
Noisy when in the room on the street and the bed needs replaced.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean, good kitchen facilities and within a good distance of the busy city centre.
Having to leave!
Very helpful upon booking in, good info given for a very short stay. Cross the street you're straight into the old town.
Perfect localization: so close to old city but still not so loud. Staff is very keen to help and guide you, and what is not so often in Spain speaks fluent English
Very lovely personnel , kitchen You can use with coffee and tea. Washing machine with washing powder. Location just perfect. And even after you leave- seems they really care for You. We forgot our travel book in the parking- they wrote a letter for us and we gonna deal how to get it back!
Only one shower and wc for all the floor. But lovely Sara let me to use another while she was cleaning the room.
Very clean, good central location, and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely return.
