everything.Special thanks to host Fabia, who provided garage and give us all information we need.
Only 15 minutes walk to Alhambra, and 5 minutes to restaurants, cafes and shops. Nicely decked out as a self-contained apartment. Wonderful old streets and alley ways...for walking only.
Near impossible to find. There are no signs on the building indicating this is the place, and no street name sign. My partner and I walked the streets for over an hour looking for it. Not recommended if you have a car- parking is in a garage (also unmarked) 10 minutes walk away- a challenge when carrying luggage.
The city, the monuments, the music in the streets, the smels ... Almost evrithing.
Location, good wifi, good kitchen facilities, master bed, the owner was very friendly and helpful, basic things (coffee, tea etc is available in the kitchen), close to walk to Alhambra but far from shops.
the bed in second bedroom made noise at every movement, no terasse or balcony to sit outside, not easy to find, too expensive for what is it
The location and access to La Alhambra, to the city centre and to the bars abd restaurants was perfect. The apartment mento was immaculate and suited us perfectly. We had a quiet night's sleep for all three nights we stayed. All we can say is 'mucho gracias' foot Fabia for making our stay so enjoyable.
The hills, but not much can be done about that. Without them, there are no spectacular views.
Really well equipped kitchen with good set of basic provisions provided by delightful hostess Fabia. Tucked away in a quiet corner of the Albazin district with view of the Alhambra opposite.
Located in Albaccin near to Alhambra and walking distance to Plaza Nueva where you can take buses to Alhambra. Nice two room apartmnet with small kitchen and Excellent owner Fabia left us some supplies for kids and us to enjoy tea/coffee. Booked last minute while on the train to Granada and Fabia had to rush from office to guide us and leave us keys and it was really helpful as we were supper tired and could not find the apartment on our own. Nice experience overall.
The property was excellent - superb location in Albecyn plus a parking spot (large parking garage which would appear to be private, nearby). Good wifi, great mattresses, well equipped kitchen... really, no remarks about the apartment. Our host, Fabia, was lovely too - she spoke very good English (unlike many other hotel and apartment managers :) Aks her about directions to the parking so that she can meet you there and open the parking before checkin - no way you can go to the apartment by car, specially if you have a large vehicle. It's real close so leaving the car and carrying your luggage to the apartment shouldn't be a problem (if you are packing light, that is, or have wheels on your suitcase). We had a small problem with the internet one night (the network disappeared) - i sent an sms to Fabia about it and it was fixed in a couple of hours, although it was late at night. Excellent customer service indeed.
a couple of things we didn't like - we paid extra money for a view to Alhambra. I was disappointed to find that the view was from a small window and in order to see Alhambra, you needed to take a very particular position. Yes, sure - one could see the Alhambra from the window as advertised, but it was not a normal window and you cannot just gather around the table and admire the view. Paying for the view is not worth the money. Another thing we didn't like - not sure if it was because we were close to the door or not, but... it can be VERY noisy at night. It's an old building with heavy wooden doors and whenever someone gets back to the building, we were all woken up by the noise the doors and locks made. It felt as if they were coming in OUR apartment :) Recommended anyway - if we come back to Granada again, we will stay here again.
Alhambra is a 15 min walk away through the old town. Very close to tapas bars etc but far enough away to avoid the loud noise. The apartment is small but well equipped and looks lovely. Also very clean!
Decor, location and great staff
Everybody was very helpful
Staff and location are amazing:)
Although we met the problem of how to getting there(it's the problem of our GPS system, the host had given detailed instruction), we are very pleasure when we really arrive. The location is in the center of Albaicin. The equipment, the staff, and everything is very well. It's the best one we stay during our vocation in Spain. From this apartment, our special experience is you can walk to the Alhambra entrance via the road behind Alhambra.
Clean & calm. Good location. Fabia was very helpful!
Well equipped kitchen for family cooking. Good sleeping arrangement for family of 4. Fabia went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable.
Tricky location to find (but within walking distance to major sites)
Location in heart of old quarter, and within easy walk of the Alhambra. Excellent welcome from Fabia. Very helpful. Convenient parking available on request - but be prepared for some narrow street driving and a short walk with the bags.
The location is quiet and there are no noises. WiFi was reliable and fast enough. The view from the balcony was nice - looking toward Alhambra palace.
The apartment is tiny, very tiny for 5 people - not even good for a couple. The biggest room was the kitchen/dining room. The sitting room was tiny and has a sofa which transforms to a double bed. The room is small enough as is and when you transform the sofa in double bed you are left with 50cm (20 inches) to get around. There is a very narrow corridor that brings to a bathrom which has a sliding door otherwise the corridor is blocked when door is opened. The door of the bathroom does not close properly and you have to make sure to tell other people you are using the bathroom, otherwise they can get in inadvertently. The next room is a narrow single bed room - which is the only OK piece. The last one is a "double-bed" room, which is 1.8m (5.9ft) wide and there is a 1.4m (4.6ft) wide bed. The bed is very narrow and uncomfortable for a couple, and it is very difficult to get around it in 30cm (12 inches) space. Except the balcony and a narrow window of the sitting room, all other windows gave on the inner court - no view from there. The furniture was old and needs to be changed. The kitchen is lacking a dishwasher. There are only 4 chairs at the dining table, the fifth person has to find another seat. The location is uphill, on the other side of Alhambra. You have to go downhill to the river, cross the bridge and then go uphill to Alhambra. Same fatigue to return at the apartment. Better getting an apartment close to city center.
The location is exceptional with private parking nearby. The apartment is well equipped and has incredibly comfy beds. It's got a view across to the Alhambra and it’s a short walk from the view point St Nicolas. Fabia, who welcomed us, is very nice and helpful for recommendations. She even helped out with printing our booking confirmation for the Alhambra, left us fresh strawberries and some provisions in the fridge on our arrival. Also she gave us some local tips about places to wander and where to find food shops. A lovely apartment!
The location is fabolous. Great driving instructions from Fabia. We would not have managed to arrive without! The parking was very good and necessary when arrival by car. Also many good recomendations, explanations where we could find different things in Granada and provision of drinks in the refrigirator. Thanks Fabia
Apartment a little small but other than that excellent flat and Fabia was great.
Fabia our hostess was very, very helpful.. Nothing was difficult to answer or arrange. The apartment had all the facilities you could think of - including fresh brewed coffee. The bedrooms were large and comfortable and location lovely.
the living space outside of the bedrooms was cramped and uncomfortable, but very much outweighed by the comfort otherwise.
Fabia was very friendly and helpful. She provided maps and gave us directions to get to the apartment and to Cordoba. We were four adults and a baby (cot provided at no charge) and it was comfortable for all of us. Well-equipped kitchen and the view of Alhambra from the balcony was really nice
The kitchen was very well-equipped but there were no kettle, which could've been handy. There is a coffee machine provided. The narrow streets of Albaicin needed a bit of getting used to, and we were glad that we hired a small car!
Fabia was fantastic, very helpful in every way.
