bed was too small
Close to the centre of town and sights. Hotel very comfortable and cleaning. Bit noisy in rooms on ground floor i would imagine but we were fine on second floor. Breakfast basic but only3€ parking 10€ for24hrs just in next street.
The area/street where hotel is located is a bit run down.
Staff was polite and helpful. It's location was perfect
6 euros for a toast, some pastry, coffee and juice is excessive. A-4 star hotel charge the same for a continental breakfast with eggs, ham, cheese, all the bread and pastry one wants, fresh and canned fruit and a variety of juices. Please, please revise breakfast options and price.
Special kudos for the design of the hotel
Proximity to attractions
Dingy room in dingy hotel. Unable to open window due to noise from bank of air conditioners. Continual smell of cigarette smoke in hallways.
Loved the decore, it was truly inspired and wonderful.
Breakfast was no good for anyone wanting food other than pastries and bread.
Charming decor, tiny room but equipped with all essentials... Balcony was a nice bonus. Dogs accepted but @€8 each per night. Airconditioning most welcome: essential in summer i would say.
No parking (apart from unloading) in vicinity: surly receptionist (although following morning, more pleasant one): forbidden to leave dogs alone in room, hence had to forgo breakfast as too hot to leave them in car even for half hour when i was there. No wifi in room.
Excellent value for money. Staff very helpful. Location - close to station but also only a short stroll from historic centre and main sights
Close proximity to railway station & only a short walk into town to see the sights. Good sleep quality.
Staff not particularly friendly - spoke only when spoken to. Staff did not bother to explain about b/f, which was a reasonable 3E extra per person. VERY POOR lighting in the rooms. Cleaner did not bother to change a flickering light in our bathroom. Very average ambience - seemed to lack 'soul'.
Location of this hostel was good for all the tourist sights of Merida. The room was clean and comfortable.
On the second day of our stay the shower was cold. No WiFi internet, and they didn't care.
Good location near the center. Good price.
I had no problems because I only stayed one night, but parking could be an issue during day time.
The room was perfect, nice size, cozy comfortable and clean. The aircon is silent and the balcony is sweet. Each receptionist was patient and kind, remembered my name and they were particularly helpful with me learning Spanish and with directions.
It's at the top of town which is a little quieter but easy to access by car. No fridge. Hardly anywhere to eat nearby. Desayuno was hard to forage in this town.
Good location and good decor
nice rooms and proximity to the fantastic town
parking not easy
Excellent location. Friendly reception.
There were hairs on the bathroom wall next to the toilet. There was quite some noise from the reception area (our room was on the ground floor right next to the reception desk).
This was the perfect value hotel for a one night stay when we drove from Madrid to Seville. The location was excellent as it was just off of the main road into town and the hotel was a short walk to the central plaza. The stsff was very friendly and the room was spotless. I would stay here again.
Location in the center of the city.
Staff is really really nice
Attractive decor and small but well designed rooms. Typical continental breakfast which was perfectly adequate for our needs. Excellent value for money.Only short distances to all the Roman sites.
We were given a room at the front of the hotel next to a noisy road and although we asked to be changed to a room at the back we were told this wasn't possible. Later on we found out that there were lots of rooms available.
The location is perfect for a visit to Mérida monuments. The decoration of the Hotel and rooms is very beautiful, well equiped and very clean. The staff at reception is very helpful and gentle.
There is no private parking available so we had to pay 10€/day at Cervantes Park (just a couple of meters away). The only thing I dislike were the pillows on the bed (big and hard).
Nice hotel, friendly staff. Close to the center.
The bed is not very comfortabel.
Helpful staff carried our bags up 2 flights of stairs
No eggs or other protein for breakfast Not enough information at sites of interest in English.
