Where do I start ?. The welcome was amazing, attention to detail was second to none, we was upgraded to the Japanese Room, the home made breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a hotel..EVER. The room was stunning, the bath was almost like a small swimming pool, the wet-room was big enough for a rugby team. Kimono dressing gowns and slippers provided. The swimming pool was clean and the roof top jaccuzi and sauna was cheekily stunning !!!. We had to miss breakfast due to flight ittenary, however a breakfast sandwich box was provided for us instead. This is meant to be only a 2* hotel ?? Sorry, this is a 4* hotel at least. 9 rooms only and intimate and welcoming. The best hotel I have ever had the pleasure of staying at, and I don not say this lightly. A true treasure. 10/10

This small hotel has a tranquil feel. It is spotlessly clean and the customer service second to none. The breakfast is delicous, with home made yoghourt and jam served with your toast or croissants. We couldn't fault this gem of a hotel and how lovely to have your host take you to your taxi and bow to you as you leave.

Very nice atmosphere. Reasonable price in a good location. Seemed to go out of their way to make guests comfortable. Nothing negative to say. Booking.com had a 9.3/10 rating, which is part of the reason we chose it. Seems they have earned it. It was also a good value for the services.

La Luna Blanca is an exquisite and rare jewel in a sea of coloured glass. We stayed for 16 nights in total and will never forget the gentle, generous and genuine courtesy we received in this immaculate hotel.

The best kept secret in Torremolinos! This was our third visit to La Luna Blanca and as on our previous stays we have nothing but praise for the Hotel. The rooms are spacious, spotless and the beds are extremely comfortable. The staff are all very helpfull and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere in the Hotel looks inviting. The continental breakfast are wonderful with different fruit, meats and bread every day. In every respect this Hotel far exceeds its 2 star rating - 4 or 5 star would be more appropriate. It is a 15 minute walk down to the seafront but if you can manage to walk back up the hill or are prepared to take a taxi back its peaceful location makes it more than worth while.

We had a wonderful stay at La Luna Blanca and cannot recommend it more highly. We were fortunate to spend 5 nights in the Japanese suite which in itself was a fantastic, experience. The room was very spacious with a super king size futon bed (very comfortable) nice seating area and the largest bathroom I've ever seen with a wet room shower and deep plunge bathtub. Everything was very clean and well maintained and that went for all areas in the Hotel. On top of that the owners and staff are the nicest people you could meet and gave us great advice on the local area and places to eat. We had the best meal in the Hotel itself. Set in the lovely Japanese garden there was just one table set out for us and we had the most wonderful authentic Japanese food, including delicious Sushi and many other dishes we have never tried before. The young lady who served us explained all about the food and even helped us with the chopsticks (not compulsory!!).it was absolutetly great. We can't wait to return to this wonderful Hotel.. .

The staff were great. The breakfast was excellent. We had dinner in the Japanese Garden ll to ourselves. Wonderful Japanese dinner . The room was very clean and tidy, but functional. We had breakfast beside the pool each morning. A lovely start to the morning Liked it very much, but the pool is quite small

We have been at La Luna Blanca last year and we felt like at home so we came back this year. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is spacious with a taste of Japanese culture, the hotel is in a residential area at walking distance from Playa La Carihela. Don't miss the opportunity of treating yourself with a shiatsu massage (ask the reception for arranging it) and having a sushi or sashimi dinner, where you get also the chance of having explanations on dishes and recipies just to familiarize a bit more with japanese culture. We really reccomend La Luna Blanca.

A haven of peace, great service, like being guests in a private villa. It truly deserves all the compliments you see in the reviews on Booking.Com. It also shows how useless star ratings are, for us it is 5*. Personal service, attention to detail, cleanliness and super friendly & professional staff.

Taste and quality in every detail. Very luxurious room and bathroom. Private balcony. Very friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding service. Close to the beach yet out of the bustle. Try out the Japanese breakfast, it's a fantastic experience. After a day at the beach, enjoy a quiet and relaxing time by the pool. At night you will be spoiled for choice: numerous restaurants and bars nearby. Enjoy shopping at night on the sea front or go for a stroll to the centre of Torremolinos....at any rate there is plenty to do and to see. Quality stay yet non expensive.

This hotel is well located, on the best side of Torremolinos. The sea is at 10' on foot, town center and marina at 15'. The staff is very kindly and take much care of your having the best stay as possible. The pool is great. They also took a real pleasure to explain us the Japanese dishes as we have a true Japanese dinner at the hotel. We recommand this hotel !

I can not fault this hotel in the slightest. The hotel being a two star is unbeilievable as ive stayed in 4 star hotels and they had not got a patch on this.Rooms were immaculate and very big.Staff very helpful and friendly exceptional service and attention to detail.Beach was a 5min walk away {breakfast was differant every morning.Nitghtlife was really close but did not hinder sleep.Staff recommended three restaurants nearby and they all were excellant.Could go on and on but dont want to bore you.Would highly recommend it ,you will not be disappointed.

We liked everything about the extraordinary La Luna Blanca. The large, comfortable, scrupulously clean rooms (large beds and expansive bathrooms): The friendly (Japanese) owners and staff: The rooftop hot-tub and sauna (which we used on our last day): The wonderful food (please do try the fantastic and generous Japanese breakfasts - european ones available too, equally delightful): The small but beautifully formed pool and the japanese gravel garden on the rear terrace. La Luna Blanca is slightly off the beaten track, but worth it for it's complete tranquility; and you can walk downhill to the beach in five or six minutes (slightly longer uphill on the way back). We had a thoroughly enjoyable, four night stay and won't hesitate to return. We left feeling calm and refreshed. Thanks to all at La Luna Blanca! We liked everything (including the Japanese breakfasts) but English visitors won't be disappointed by the European option. The hotel is situated on a quiet but rather steep incline (which might prove difficult for older or less fit visitors) but taxis are inexpensive and plentiful in Carihulala

Spent 2 weeks in Spain, traveling by car. By far this was the most pleasant stay. Clean. Friendly. Delicious food. Lovely accommodation. Relaxing. Quiet at night. Staff very helpful. I loved lounging by the pool. Bathroom, was exquisite. We, my daughter and I stayed in japonese room. The biggest issue was finding this place. Small streets not located or even mentioned on most maps meant driving around in circles a fair bit. A clear ' map ' made available on line would be most helpful.
