Change of the old piano bar to new lounge.
The location is perfect. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and has a very welcoming feel about it.
The carpets look like they could do with renewing. Not always enough staff on duty. (Particularly when trying to get food). The Piano Bar/Lounge. Also, times seemed to change as to when they were open.
As soon as you enter the hotel, a feeling of calm takes over. It is truly an amazing hotel! Staff friendly, and efficient. The hotel feels very luxurious, and is in a great location.
The carpets looked a bit thread worn. Also, too many interruptions from the cleaning staff, (too early in the morning), and also checking the mini bar.
everything. great fitness facilities. fantastic breakfast. All amenities within walking distance
On the positives: Staff friendliness and service Quiet and prestigious location Comfort of beds and pillows
On the negatives Booked room for 2 adults, one child up to 12yrs and a baby cot, offered a twin room with two single beds. Had to pay extra to be upgraded Swimming pool and gym requires bus/car Far from the sea
Relaxed atmosphere staff made you feel welcome. A very comfortable nights sleep excellent facilities.
Wi fi in hotel is NOT free ! Dinner prices a little high
The location was excellent.sharing the hotel with the rich and famous was inspirational. My wife and I will be back.
The price of the mini bar items.
The 'in house' restaurant - food excellent, waiting staff very attentive and friendly. The location was good - nice outlook from our room balcony.
The position of the fixed shower head in relation to the shower screen meant it was impossible to take a shower without 'flooding' the bathroom floor. The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together- not what you expect in a 5 star hotel.
Staff at reception and pool reception very friendly and professional
Twin Room basic and old could do with a revamp.fan in bathroom broken informed staff on night we arrived but not repaired. But it was the breakfast and what went on in the dining room which was most surprising for a so called 5 star hotel.the food choices were limited, the staff behind the breakfast counter appeared as if they did not want to be there.I Noted this on our 1st morning they kept dissappearing out to a back room even though many were waiting for boiled eggs and omlettes!!on the 28th of oct.while we were waitn for eggs a frying pan went on fire staff again in the back room I alerted jose lopez and Ana who were attending tables and the fire was extinguished.from a health and safety perspective not good.
tennis if not part of the clinics was quite expensive
Pool area Gated complex
Carpet on hallways poor Music in Piano bar timing advertised incorrectly
This time we enjoyed the luxury of the 5 star hotel having mostly on other visits hired a selection of different villas.
The hotel is located in a very beautiful place.
It's not possível to put the address in the GPS and the beaches and the SPA are far from the hotel.
Everything, and love playing the par 47 golf course. Great for beginners!
Pool area. Golf courses.
Breakfast was average.
Excellent restaurants in the resort. Hotel comfortable and welcoming.
Wifi a little slow.
The hotel location within La Manga club is excellent, great pool and food. Spacious rooms with nice balconies with overviews of the golf courses.
The wi fi was inconsistent on connection and the food was quite expensive.
The rooms are clean, well equipped and spacious. The buffet breakfast offered a great choice. The pool area is a lovely place to relax.
A minor point, but I would have liked an iron and ironing board in the room.
Comfortable friendly hotel.Piano bar snacks and drinks very good.Plenty of car parking.Pool good but very busy
Rooms in need of refurbishment in near future.
Location, atmosphere, staff, clean, *****
- Relaxed - Staff are helpful and friendly - Breakfast plentiful and varied - Free People Carriers available on request to get you around the resort - The hotel is not oversized/overrun with people - Pool beds at the Hotel are great - wicker and big mattresses - Mojito on tap :o) - Pillows are soft - UndertheSun restaurant was worth checking out - Did I mention Mojito on tap? If you're looking for a short break where it's friendly, safe, warm weather, you'll get what you want here
- When we arrived rom wasn't what we booked. Twin instead of double with extra bed for my son. Went back to reception and were placed in a double room near the pool then housekeeping moved in with the extra bed. At 10pm with a tired 8 year old, it was a shame to arrive and this not be ready. - Beds are hard - a plank might be more comfy! An option may be to line it with the pillows! - I think there should be some free water in the room rather than paying 3.30 euros for a small bottle (it's 25 cents for 1.5 litres in the supermarket) - Many have mentioned the piano bar without view, yes it's a shame there's not an outside/terrace bar or leave the pool one open - The beach at La Cala is small and pretty stoney. We lasted an hour. - Other part of resort (Las Lomas) looks tired - Walk to Las Lomas Village would be better taken with a scythe to hack some of the overgrowing plants out of the way! - This is not real Spain. It's seems to be a protected little centre/community so don't go expecting culture.
Queuing for breakfast Piano bar -only evening bar in dark room with noisy TV and quality of drinks poor Staff -didn't engage or smile
We liked everything about the hotel and the resort. Next time we will stay longer.
It's not 5 star ,let's leave it at that
