Hotel Mangalan

The hotel was fine, but not upto a 4 star standard we have stayed in 3 star hotels which were much more luxurious than this one but it is not a bad hotel, just not a great one.

The food wasnt very good, we had pizza and sandwiches for lunch and they were both burnt. We also paid extra on this site for breakfast and then found that the breakfast buffet was free! whether thats the hotels fault or the website i dont know. We also had sand in our bed when we arrived between the top throw and the sheets which is definately not to a 4 star standard.

Dear Sir. We found the hotel staff very helpful indeed, especially as we needed to leave early due to my partners ill health.

Dear Sir. We felt the hotel needs a designated lounge area, as there is only the reception area with comfortable furniture.

This hotel was staffed by friendly staff, reception staff spoke English, which made it easier. All facilities were functional, tastful but not luxurious. Breastfast was very good and plentiful

The dinner buffet in the hotels restaurant was very good and at a reasonable price.

Great location, clean modern rooms. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was as you would expect, with a variety of cold meats, cereals, toast, fruit and cakes.

The only negative was that there was no milk in the rooms to make a cup of tea.

Nice and clean hotel. Very good located. You need only 5 minutes to reach the beach.

Parking had no room despite of the fact that I mentioned parking in reservation. Strange elevators...too slow:)

The hotel provided an excellent value for money. The room was clean, had all modern amenities and a great sea view. The staff was very helpful and there was a wide choice for breakfast. Also the location of the hotel on La Manga was very convenient: it's about halfway on the main part of the strip, which makes points of interest such as Pabo de Calos and Puerta Thomas Maestre within easy reach. One needs a car though (which is in general the case for La Manga) and there are many parking facilities near the hotel. La Manga del Mar Menor itself is a great holiday destination, especially given the presence of two seas. In short, we spent a great vacation in a very good hotel at an idyllic place!

The only negative comment to be made was the (extremely) slow internet access. We used internet facilities outside the hotel.

Quartos amplos e limpos, com casa de banho funcional. Ar condicionado eficiente e discreto. Alimentação equilibrada quer ao pequeno almoço quer ao jantar, com boa capacidade de resposta do restaurante. Vinho incluído na refeição.
