very good location, close to many attractions. 4 pc free to use. small kitchen is ok when not many people use at the same time. has lift. nice staff.

room is a bit small, the balcony is shared with next room so you should not leave it open when nobody is in room. wifi is weak in room.

The location was great because it was within an easy walking distance from the train station and multiple sights of Madrid. It was nice that breakfast was included, and the bathroom facilities were nice.

The $15 deposit for the key/sheets was frustrating because it was our last day in Europe and we planned to use those euros that day so we wouldn't have to convert back home.

    Staff, lockers and localization.

It's too noisy! The other people didn't respect the hours of silence (after 23:00) and the fact that you hear every conversation in the bedrooms of people talking in the corridors. If I ever come back it will be because of the staff.

The hostel is very near to the important museums El Prado & Reina Sofia, also the staff was nice. My key never worked for the main door, but there was always someone at the desk to open it for me. It worked for the room&locker.

The shower in my room wasn't completely waterproofed, after using it I stepped into a puddle.

Location can't be better. Hostel is directly in the center of the city. Every saturday you can get free paella. Stuff is nice and helpful.

Some of the people that work there is very rude. Bathroom is not clean.

The staff is nice. The hostel is near to a metro stop and five minutes' walk from Placa Sol.

The stairs to the upper bed is quite funky.

    Location and price.

Staff made very noise while they are cleaning and without care or respect with who is in the room. Just an example, a kid screaming and playing during this time, maybe it was a sun of someone. Had to do the bed with bedlinen after checkin and take out bedlinen and deposit at reception while checkout... Many little lights near the bedrooms doesn't work and people have to turn on all big lights (imagine you are already sleeping!). A poor kitchen to breakfast.

The girl on the reception desk was very very kind, willing to help with everything... The location of the hostel is just perfect... There was also a guy making some traditional dish in the kitchen and he was offering it for all guests in the hostel for free...

Great value for your money! Includes breakfast, paella and sangria nights, free tours of the city. Bed was comfortably enough, bathrooms were clean enough. Amazing location!

Even if the location was ok, the living environment was very terrible. Firstly, it was very noisy at night. My roomates and me had very poor quality of sleep. Secondly, my roomate from USA thought the staff was rude and lack of patience when he asked stuff questions. In conclusion, it could be the most terrible hostel I had ever seen.
