Owner was very friendly, accommodating and had great local tips. The property is a beautiful Spanish style house. Location is great in the heart of the Albaycin (Old Town) just a short walk away from great restaurants and views of the Alhambra.

Nothing really other than maybe the option of a fan in the room although the rooms do have A/C.

The location was great. It's in the center of the old city. The owner was the best host you can possibly get. She cooks very good food and match it with perfect wine. We had a great time talking with her and the guests that were around. The hotel is really nice and updated.

We should have stayed for a week instead of a couple of days

Staff and owner are the nicest people I have every experienced while staying abroad. I felt like I was staying at a dear friends house. Our room was lovely and I loved the layout of the courtyard and the flowers all around. WONDERFUL breakfast and tapas!! If you are searching for a relaxing and happy experience then this is where you need to stay.

    That I couldn't stay longer.

Everything perfect. Ainhoa, was really a perfect host. She picked us up near the car since we were having problems in finding the hotel. Then, wonderful rooms with a view of the Alambra from the terrace. Very nice rooms and breakfast. We had our 3 years daughter a Nothing was charged. Really a wonderful place in the nicest quarter of Granada

This guesthouse (posada) is a real treasure! Situated in the heart of romantic and mostly car free old quarter Albaicin it is close enough to walk to all sights while your car is parked safely in the posada's place in a nearby garage. Opening the door to the little walled patio garden you enter a peaceful and welcoming world of its own: The lady host will greet you with such a warm smile and is ready to offer you home made tapas and wine directly from her kitchen to let the traveller recover - you will feel at home at once! Yes, Ainhoa, the cheerful and creative host of her Posada, is the real treasure of this charming little guesthouse! She helps you with advice, suggestions or makes sure you get a ticket for the best flamenco show - we were enchanted by her and her charming retreat from the very start. For your practical interest: The beds are excellent and spacious and the breakfast in the patio very good and home made, at night you only will hear birds tweeting in their sleep...

We have definitely liked everything!! Someone else might miss perhaps a TV in the room (you can get it on request) - but we appreciated that!!

It is a very nice place to stay and relax after a busy day. The patio is beautiful and above all the owner of the place is very helpful and does everything to feel you at home.

I only missed a small desk or table to work on.

Albayzin is amazing. Posada de Quijada is modern inside and very nicely looked after, so you are able to have something of a real Albayzín experience (hidden away in the narrow streets, views of the Alhambra in the distance) while not living in clean, modern surroundings. Ainhoa was extremely helpful and annotated my city map in great detail.

Tricky to find but that's part of the charm of the neighbourhood.

The location is perfect for seeing Granada and for experiencing the Albaycin - the old town with narrow cobbled streets on the hill opposite the Alhambra. Ainhoa, the owner is really helpful and friendly and made us very welcome. We had a room with a terrace which was a bonus.

Once inside La Posada de Quijada everything changes for the better! The owner was very welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are basic but stylish. Our small shared terrace had views of the Alhambra. Breakfast was traditional for the are and could be taken either on the outside terrace or in the dining room. We enjoyed the experience.

La Posada de Quijada is situated in the old town where the streets are very narrow and not at all vehicle friendly. Our taxi driver from the bus station was initially unable to find the junction which we had been given as the nearest point for access. Unfortunately the walkway fro the taxi to the Posada was littered with dog dirt which was somewhat off putting!! The town is only five minutes walk from La Posada down very steep and cobbled pathways passing through interesting streets of Arab traders. These are at first intimidating but are actually fine. You have to remember, however, that you have to climb back up the steep streets. Not at all suitable for the elderly or infirm.
