Location, view, lots of windows, bed. Great room for the price on a great location.

pillow was tiny en all rooms are different. Ask for room nr 310.

All staff were extremely hospitable and gracious, and helpful with recommendations and directions.

An ideal location for visiting the city. Close to shops, markets, cathedral, older parts of the city and the beach and harbour area. Metro station and bus terminals nearby for visiting other areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable with excellent double glazing. You would never dream there was so much traffic outside!

The only problem we had was the bed sliding away from the wall, when we sat up to read! Not very serious, but a bit irritating. Perhaps some wedges under the bed legs?

everything was very good. the first receptionist guy who looks like italian was the most helpful guy ive ever seen:) the housekeeping was perfect, i left all of my money and other stuff and nothing was moved. very close to la rambla, cathedral and catalunia square.

Location

The hotel definitely doesn´t not deserve it´s 4th star. Perhaps the 3rd star with effort... The whole building smelled of stale water, and the staff were unfriendly. As I live outside Barcelona city, staying at this hotel was a last minute decision, but i will not recommend staying here to visiting friends or family.

The location is very convenient for shopping and entertainment.

The room is very small and not convenient. There was no bath stuff in the bathroom. And for 4 star hotel is very very weak hotel. The receptionists were not friendly at all.

Great location. Friendly employees, some not the friendliest but it wasn't a huge issue. There was a huge general strike the day we stayed; would have been nice to be warned ahead of time by hotel staff. We had no idea most of barcelona would be closed and that police/ppl marching outside our window and we wouldn't be able to leave for dinner. Other than that, the rooms were excellent, very spacious compared to other hotels in europe I have stayed at. Great views.

We are shocked that this hotel is rated four stars. The sink plumbing in our washroom did not functioning properly, housekeeping did not restock necessary items such as soap, there were glasses in washroom only, none for drinks in room. The hall carpets on the third floor were stained and one part of the glass, of front sliding-glass doors of the hotel, was cracked. This hotel should be rated two stars rather than four stars.

At the first sight when my husband and I entered the room it was smell like a toilet and the corridor too. The next day the smell was not too bad then we thought the cleaning lady ventilated the room. The smell was the same as first day for the next day too. We guessed they had been having serious problem with the sewage system. In our 4th night while we were sleeping we started to hear some scratching noise under our bed. We sit on our bed more than 20 minutes then the noise was stopped. The noise was defiantly coming from the bedstead and it was probably a mouse. Then we talked with the reception and she changed our room from 303 to 511. While we went to room 303 next morning for moving our belongings to room 511 the cleaning lady was knocked the room 3 times and then the reception called the room to ask to leave the room immediately. It was really annoying as we were not willing to stay there any more too but needed to time to pack our clothes. The staffs were not patient at all and their behaviors were unfortunately really poor. After this horrible and scary night we stayed there two more nights as we did not want to lose time to find another place to stay. After this night they did not even ask one time if we were okay. They also did not let us know if they checked the room too. The room 511 was not nice as well. First of all it was two single beds room and there was no mirror and a proper light on the roof. While we were checking the hotel off we told them it could be better if they interested with us after this thing happened. We said the second room was not proper and was single beds. But they said while we were booking a room via booking com we can only request double bad and if it is available we can get it. Then we told them we fully aware of this but we did not deserve this behaviorism at all. It was totally awful. They should apologize but they did not.

Location of hotel is excellent. Metro straight across the road from hotel providing access to the sights of the city

Location, Location Location!!! near Barcelona Cathedral, right by Jaume metro, plus open top bus tour stops. You are on a street called Via Laientana which is so perfect.

Not the best option for 3 days trip to Barcelona.

It was in the city center and you can go everywhere by walking. There was a metro station and bus stop so close to hotel so you can easily use public transports. Hotel staff were very friendly. Although check in time was 2.00PM, they helped us to make it at 12.00. In terms of price and quality it is one of the best option in city.

Room and the wardrobe was a bit small.If you plan to stay more than 3-4 days and you bring a big luggage, it could be hard to fit your clothes.

Excellent location in Barrio Gotico for sightseeing and shopping. City tour bus stop, Cathedral and the Palacio del Musica for performances were just 5 minutes away and all the major sights were within walking distance, including the Montjuic Park, marina, museums. Great restaurants within walking distance. Desk service was friendly and prompt with response to all requests - ticket bookings, taxi bookings, etc.

- awesome place in the centre, walk to Rambla, Gracia as well as walk to old town to the Church St. Maria del Mar. Picasso Museum just 5 min walk, Gothic Cathedral 2 min. walk - GREAT!!! - ask for inner block room, nice view and calm (down there there is an irish pub, but closes at 11 pm, no noise, nice view) - clean room, clean towels whenever we wanted, napkins. When we arrived we got fruit basket and everyday 3 little chocolates - breakfast we took outside of the hotel for half price everyday differrent place, even on main points breakfast is much cheaper than in hotel for 13 EUR.

Excellent location. Walking distance to the beach and city centrum. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked more or less as advertised.

The Laietana street is noisy, so pack your earplugs. Breakfast is also overpriced. Nearby cafes offer better value for money.
