Eurostars Laietana Palace  

Excellent location. Walking distance to the beach and city centrum. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Everything worked more or less as advertised.

The Laietana street is noisy, so pack your earplugs. Breakfast is also overpriced. Nearby cafes offer better value for money.

The hotel is in a good position, in a strategic place of bcn, close to Jaume I Metro station and close to Born/Port Vell for nightlife . the room was quiet despite of being on Via Laietana, one of the most noisy street in bcn

No good value for money, it's a 4 stars hotel but without frills. The room was not bad but very simple, very poor courtesy kit (no bathrobe,few towels, no slippers). No breakfast included, you have to pay 13 euro each for the buffet, too much for a city like bcn full of bares/starbucks etc

The staff were very helpful and fluent in English. They assisted wherever possible and made our stay comfortable.

The location is good, near by a metro station, squares, Ramblas and museums. The staff was really kind. I asked to change my room (because I asked a double bed and I was installed in a twin bed room) and the staff was helpful (but just in the next day...).

The internet in the first night was impossible. When I change my room, it worked. The hotel has a really bad problem with noisy. Everytime another guest uses the bathroom, we heard in ours.

The location is this hotel's biggest advantage - metro line right in front of the hotel, walking distance - 5 min - to Rambla, Rambla del Mar, Barcelonetta or Catalunya.

The room was too small for 2 persons - the bed was small and looked like a single bed instead of the double bed we requested and paid for. The noise in the room is awful because the windows are not properly isolated and Via Laietana is a very crowded street all day and night. The TV remote control was not working and the safe didn't had a key - even after we told the receptionist about all these issues nothing was done.
