Hotel L'Alguer  

Very clean hotel, personnel is very helpful although some of the staff does not know English. It is located near to metro station (max 5 min by foot) in quite area.

Hotel is very modest, with no carpet on the floor, no internet access.

Went there for Barcelona v chelsea. location for the nou camp couldn't be better. ideal for a couple of nights but would want a little more comfort for any longer time

My main reason in travelling to barcelona was to go to a fcbarcelona game that saturday night, this hotel is very conveniently located approximately 10 minutes walk to the camp nou it also has close access to a metro station (collblanc) for access into the city centre i plan to stay there again in the future it is good value for money in my opinion

I liked the location,specially if you are in barcelona for the football game. The location is perfect, one of the stuff mrs. Bayatrice was very friendly and helpful.hotel was clean but old,the area where is the hotel is good also,it's a 2stars hotel,overall satisfactory.

The bad thing about the hotel is it's old furniture.

Location was excellent for our trips to the Camp Nou. It's also very close to the Metro. The beds were comfortable and the room clean and warm.

Rooms were small. This wasn't an issue on a short break but would not be good for a longer period.

Quite, near by camp nou, near metro station, 15 mints walking to main street diaganol street, 15 mints by metro to reach La Ramblas, the area near hotel is dead after 8pm, just book the hotel if u want to attend barcelona game, just sleep and leave the room because its too small, no english ch on tv at all, it says its 3 stars hotel but its 2 stars, over all great location but fair hotel.

The hotel staff were great.. they also spoke English.. they called us a taxi when we needed..

Neighbourhood..

The location was good if your trip is based around a Nou Camp trip. Also 5 mins walk to the metro so getting about was easy, 8-10 stops to las ramblas. Staff were friendly but didnt speak much english.

The area around the hotel was a bit rough, the walls of the hotel were very thin. If people were in the corridor or making noise it was easy to hear. No double beds so had to push two singles together.

Localisation near to Camp Nou. Decent hotel service. Aircondition.

Room looking badly and dirty. Old fashioned equipment. Lack of some bedclothes. Definetly too expensiv vs price.

The tiles in the bathroom where a bit quirky and brightened up my morning shower! Essentially though, proximity and budget were crucial to my decision making for this hotel. Had it not been conveniently located to the Palau de Congress de Catalunya and been within my budget then I would not have chosen to stay there and would not again. It was also conveniently located to a Metro station, some shops and a few breakfast places.

The room was a bit dark and had no real character. The shutters on the window could not be conveniently left open. Also there was no tea / coffee facilities in the room, although I gather this is absent in hotels across Spain, even the higher end ones.
