Location and food
Noise in room during the night
Thge position of the hotel is excellent for shops, harbour bars. The room was big and had a lovley spacious balcony with a partial sea view. The food was great and lots of choices and the staff were helpful I just really enjoyed the overall experience for a 3 star hotel!!! Book now
nothing at all
Location perfect, sea breeze means that whilst it was very hot you never felt it. Staff were awesome, every single one from room maids and gardeners to waiting and reception staff. During the entire 2 weeks I didn't walk past a single one who didn't smile and greet me.
If there was one slight negative it was that the drinks were overpriced when staying half board and there was a limited offering in brands.
Great staff, good ,and varied food.
No air conditioning lack of sunbeds and parasols.
First line at the beach. Bright comfortable rooms. Nice swimming pool. Buffet with many choices
Very big and busy restaurant. Beverages on the expensive side.
People reserving sun beds by putting towels on them. Also not being able to have a late check out.
Cleanliness Staff Pool choice Location
Beds Mahu beer
Had a fantastic nights stay, lovely clean accomodation and good food. Would stay here again.
Everything. The food was really nice. Very clean and modern.
The staff were really the ones that gave value to this property. They were very nice, and very pleasant to deal with. I also appreciated the balcony.
The apartment was tired. The bed would kind of jump each time I would turn in bed. Furthermore, there was a nasty smell coming out of the sink.
food was absolutely brilliant and catered for everybody.reception staff were all friendly and very helpful and also the cleaning staff, nothing was too much trouble. this is was our third stay at the hotel and we would definitely be going back again.
drinks were expensive if going half board
Hotel is on the waterfront, with nice view if you have a room with a sea view. Very good breakfast buffet. The staff is friendly.
The fact that you have to pay extra or a deposit for certain amenities: no free wifi in rooms (wifi only free for 30 min per day in lobby area), no hairdryer in rooms, need to pay a deposit to use the safe.
This was a last minute booking, and I chose it on location, reviews and price. I had booked a basic room, on a room only basis, but on arrival I was upgraded to a suite with a sea view which was a lovely surprise. The room was very spacious and was cleaned every day, the bathroom was huge! The free wifi in the reception area for 30 minutes every day was a nice surprise. If you like the beach ask for a room in 'C' area, it's literally a few steps to the beach and the pool area there is less crowded.
food and staff were excellent
Location, clean rooms, friendly staff, swimming pools
No airco on the room No wifi on the room
No Car Park and uncomfortable sun loungers
Excellent value for money. Helpful friendly staff. Two minutes to beach.
Decor could do with facelift here and there but nothing major.
The location is unbeatable and within 100 metres of a lovely safe beach. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Rooms and hotel generally were kept spotless. From what I could see all rooms have at least a partial sea view. The food is very good with plenty of choice including freshly-cooked meat and fish. Once you get over what are fairly minor annoyances, you won't do better for value and location in Playa Blanca.
The beds are hard, there's no argument about it. Our fridge hummed loudly all night. The gym seems to be always locked. Now, I like a game of tennis on holidays but I refuse to pay €11 per hour to 'hire' the hotel's own court - plus extra for the rackets. I asked at reception about booking bus tickets to the Sunday market in Teguise - they wanted €16 per person. This is outrageous, all the nearby tour operators do it for €8. They also quoted me €23 EACH WAY for the ferry to Fuerteventura. It should be €23 return. This is outrageous gouging of customers who may not know better.
overall "value for money" due to low rate
check-in process took 15 minutes as it was interrupted to answer other customers' requests; at check-out I was asked to pay as the system didn't show that I already did when checking in... when I claimed this, I was even asked for proof of payment !
Quiet location, by sea with good beach and excelent pharmacy next door who speedily fixed my upset stomach.
Food was boring and repetitive and, as we were half board, we did not like having to pay extra for water with our dinner which was only available from small, purchased bottles but free on tap at breakfast ! Also, we paid for a one bedroomed apartment with cooking facilities so that we could choose whether to have lunch out or cook something but were told by reception that we were were not allowed to use them as they were going to be taken out, although they were still in situe and working order, according to other guests, just locked behind cupboard doors, making them inaccessable ! If we had known about this, we would not have booked this hotel. Last but not least, I never had one good night's sleep as the matresses were worn out and the very uncomfortable springs meant I ached from head to foot every morning ! A complete contrast to their 4 star hotel in Gran Canaria, so we will never use any of their 3 star places ever again, if we ever do use them again !
Enjoyed view from promenade.
Restuarants overcrowded.corridors very cold and draughty. Lifts badly located.
The location of the hotel to the beach. We only booked bed and breakfast but I thought the availability of a buffet evening meal for 13 euros was a good price. We ate in only once and enjoyed several good meals at restaurants on nearby Flamingo Beach.
Hard twin beds! its probably very good to have the bedroom at the back to keep it cool in summer but it makes it closed in and dingy in March. It would have been good to have one pool heated in the grounds as it was way too cold to swim in.
the position on the promenade good walks in each direction, the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, good choice of food
the room décor a bit tired looking
Reception staff unpleasant and unhelpful. No air conditioning Pool nit heAted do unable to go in. Only one English speaking satellite channel - sky news
The location and food.
Bathroom was 'tired'. Shower head too small. Smelly drains in bathroom.
