Hotel Doña Maria is set in a former palace in central Seville, offering views of the famous Cathedral and the Giralda. It features a seasonal, rooftop swimming pool and free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 1144 reviews Very good
Built around a courtyard, this luxurious hotel is in a restored 19th-century mansion beside Seville Cathedral in the Santa Cruz district.
Score from 494 reviews Wonderful
The position is perfect to vosit the city and the hotel is cozy
The room was noisy during the night because the windows are not isolated well
Por que está muy centrico
Breakfast was really enjoyable
Not enough staff At reception
The polite and efficient staff ,the superb foyer with its columns and arches, the location and ease of driving there and having the car parked for you,a nice room with a 6m x 6m patio facing the cathedral, much more than we had hoped for, thank you Ruben,on the front desk.
Not a thing.
Hotel was tucked away from the crowds. Presentation was excellent. Walking into reception felt like an oasis.
Level 1, where our room was (mezzanine floor apparently), required a very convoluted trek via 2 lifts to get to it.
A great visit - in fact we came back after Granada - very friendly and efficient staff, central position for the city.
All was fine!
Location, decor, very good breakfast , car parked for you .
Our room was on 3 levels, the bathroom being on the bottom ,bedroom at top.
Very ornate surroundings. Great use of an old building. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, walkable to sites and restaurants. Would stay again!
The rooms are centred around an inside courtyard and fountain. Close proximity to key sites in the old town. Breakfast excellent. The best fresh orange juice ever!
excellent location and a stunning foyer and dining room / patio. Excellent views too from plain but pleasant roof terrace. Very friendly, hardworking and helpful staff who deserve to be complimented.
convoluted access into hotel extension in adjoining building and precarious iron mezzanine bedroom in the room. Would recommend the hotel and would happily re-book myself if one specifies the original building and not the annex. Room basis but comfortable.
The hotel was very nice, big rooms, clean, the staff was very helpful, good wifi signal, breakfast was good and the location was excellent. Just a few minutes from either the cathedral or the river and it's near a lot of restaurants of the Arenal area. Definitely will go back to this hotel if I return to Seville.
Nice staff, only 1 staff member spoke english
We ordered roomservice for some dining in the room. Classic hamburger and a pizza... Both were disgusting without taste! Very poor quality, and absolutely not fresh, but deep freeze rubbish! Cost € 34,- Way too much for zero quality! Shame for a nice, good located hotel, with a bad kitchen, in such gastronomic country!
Lovely hotel in a great location. Lots of nice restaurants (and cafés for breakfast) nearby. Gorgeous architecture. Excellent parking facilities. Would definitely return.
Shame the rooftop bar was closed during our stay - but worth a trip up there to see the views anyway.
Room looked tired - I stayed at this hotel about 5 years ago and it is beginning to look shabby
Got upgrade lovely patio
Room basic needing upgrade
Location is amazing, a few blocks away from the Cathedral. Breakfast is excellent. Take that option.
Spotty wifi. Sometimes very fast, sometimes very slow.
Great location and service. Beds and rooms in general are fantastic.
Hard to say! Maybe the price of breakfast.
We liked the bed, the patio, the courtyard, the lobby and breakfast.
Not all reception staff understood English, One day room was not made up by 16.00. Very bad TV reception. We requested ice cubes, however reception did not understand our request. I have noted from my records that the price of our room 402 has gone up by 31% this year compared with 2013 and taking into account our comments we do not consider the hotel to be value for money any longer. This is our third visit to the hotel and we have always looked forward to staying at La Rabida. We are very disappointed and will be considering looking for another hotel in the future.
The courtyards, view ,lovely superior room! Great breakfast even if pricey and overall good food in beautiful restaurants within. Great service!
central location Breakfast Good Space in the room
Slightly small wardrobe
Location was excellent - just a 5 min walk to the cathedral, shops & restaurants. Our room looked into the central courtyard of the hotel which was very nice. The room was a good size & breakfast was good too. Overall a great hotel in a great location at a great price. NB. The hotel recommended a great restaurant/tapas bar called Zelai which is well worth a visit (Calle Albareda, 22).
Our friends booked a suite & I think our room was much better than theirs. The picture on the webpage advertising a suite did not look anything like their room. Our standard room was much better value. The roof terrace isn't always manned so getting service there wasn't easy. They didn't serve the snack menu at lunchtimes there either which was a shame, if you wanted to eat on the terrace it had to be from the full restaurant menu.
This was a beautiful hotel, like the boutique hotels. The cleanliness was exceptional and the decoration was first class. I had a lox sandwich there that was awesome.
The room was small, one chair for 2 people, no place to put our baggage's on. To reach the hangers you have to be a giant. The hotel was beautiful but not user friendly. Parking the car was difficult, the helper had to go to 3 different locations to get the key to access the car somewhere a street away. They use a flower incense in the hotel which is sheer delight for most, but to someone with allergies like I, it was most uncomfortable.
Location and helpful staff
Room could of had more natural light
Difficulty in room location changing lifts
