The helpful staff member at reception who responded to my need for nicer accommodation and suggested the delightful hotel-owned apartment on the square which we loved.

The original room we were assigned to - (401 I think ) dark, little natural light- couldnt have stayed there !!

Spacious, good beds, very secure facility, great location.

Very good stylish hotel in central location and good value for money ... we arrived very early in the morning ... our room was not ready and we were upgraded on arrival to a large new apartment overlooking the square .... couldn't fault the quaility of the hotel or the service from the staff who were very good very friendly and helpfull and all spoke English well

the only dissapointment was that part of the reason for chosing the hotel was the superb roof top bar overlooking the city ... unfortunately it is closed on a Sunday and Monday which were the two nights that we stayed and we weren't aware of this at the point of booking and don't think that this was made clear on the website The self catering apartment could have done with a kettle but as we were only staying 2 nights this wasn't a problem and so did not raise the issue with the staff the a/c didn't seem to be able to make the room as cool as we would have liked .... otherwise couldn't fault the quaility of the hotel or the service from the staff

Fantastic location, great rooftop bar and spacious room.

Pretty much everything - I would emphasise the importance of following a tip to ask for a room overlooking the pedestrianized street or square - which I did.

The Air Con was quite noisy. if I'd been staying longer I'd have asked for it to be fixed.

Comfortable beds. Decor. Central location. Good value for money. We did enjoy our stay, despite the couple of negative comments opposite. Generally excellent.

Breakfast coffee not particularly nice and the coffee maching, which one had to operate oneself, was not fully functioning. Music in the lounge/breakfast room was dreadful: dull & repetitive, head-banging stuff!

Really helpful receptionist. Rosa was so welcoming.

The kindness of the staff and cleanliness of bedrooms and all the practical items left inthe bathroom for our use. My wife appreciated the haircap.

When we first arrive, the door did not lock and so we were offered a better room with a proper lock and more spacious. So we cannot complain.

The entire experience was excellent. Great reception staff, room was good with a comfortable bed, and bathroom was of a good size. Never have stayed in a room mate hotel before, but will definitely be staying again.

I liked everything

Fabulous location overlooking central plaza, and less than 10 minutes walk to the harbour. Great staff and service. They went out of their way to provide us all with a wonderful few days - best place we've stayed in Malaga - I very highly recommend this hotel.

location is really good in the hart of the city

breakfast is very poor and every day the same. there was also a lot of noise in the rooms as the isolation is very poor (noise from other rooms and noise from the street).

Wonderful location, fabulous hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff you could wish to meet. Room perfect with great bathroom and facilities. We love Room Mate hotel and will always try to find one when taking a city break. This si the 3rd time and they have all been perfect!

the location was excellent, near to everything. Loved the view of the square and the main street from our room. Was only ten minute walk from the train station so easy to get to.

The breakfast was adequate but have had better quality breakfasts in similar class hotels.

Breakfast till 12 o'clock Location is the best (right in the historical center and the main shopping street) Multiple Pillows and bed are of very good quality (this is an absolute plus, since in Spain they're used to uncomfortable beds)

Rooms are extremely hot even in wintertime due to the central heating system. Make sure you ask for a room on the back as you need to sleep with open windows (even in winter) to stand the heat. And when you're in front, the noise of the street could keep you awake

A bit pricy but well located with nice rooms, fast wi-fi and good breakfast;
