great hotel , good breakfast in your room , at a time you want it a bit away from the town, its 8 euros to park on site ,which i didnt like , you pay to stay at there hotel, then they want more money to park your car, i normally avoid these places if i carnt park in the street or park for free

Very clean, helpful reception, street parking in quiet area felt safe, a very basic hotel-just a small reception and bedrooms. Breakfast was very good and served in bedrooms- no bar or dining room. All we needed and very good value. All good for our needs.

Close to Roman sites but sufficiently away from the city to be quiet. The streets around the hotel were noticeably full of dog mess. This was bad because we had our own dog with us and we felt it irresponsible.

Staff was extremely helpful and the rooms were clean. It is easy to access and has underground parking for 8 Euros or free parking on a little- used street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the room. A little far for some to walk to the main sites--it took me 20 minutes to reach the Roman theatre, walking at a brisk pace.

Very friendly welcome. Small but clean room and immaculate shower room. Because of the dog our room had a small, private terrace. Easy free parking in private road outside. Easy dog-walk into town. Room very small yet contained a double AND single bed - bit cramped.

The manager and staff at the Hotel were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and airy and quiet. Also an important plus for Las Abidas, especially for people journeying onwards with a car full of personal things, there is a secure underground car park under the hotel which offers maximum security. Well worth the additional payment.

The hotel is very cute. Small but very nice. It is situated in the quiet area of Merida outskirts. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room that we had was quite small but had very big balcony with a nice view. It smelled nicely there and in the bathroom we found everything necessary: soap, shampoo, shower gel, razors, hair brush, shower hat and glasses. It seamed to be just reconstructed. The only thing that we didn't like and it disappointed us a lot is the fact that in the morning we were not able to enter the bathroom as there were huge amount of ants.

We travelled with our dog and our room had a balcony which was very handy. There is also a lovely walk along the river which was excellent for dog walks. The walls were a bit thin, that being said we had no trouble sleeping

A clean and comfortable room in a pleasant hotel, well located for walking to the large variety of Roman sites. The wall are rather thin between rooms, so you do hear television and conversations in the next door rooms.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location with an interesting (passing the remains of the aqueduct) walk to the town though non walkers may think differently! (a shorter route via the river is possible) Room very comfortable with no road noise. Breakfast served in room was minimal but fresh and served with a smile!

We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and set up of the rooms. Staff were excellent and we found the breakfast delivered to the room was quite qurky, however it was a little light on. The location is in a new development outside of town. It is about a 15-20 min walk into town and the aqueduct is on the way (4mins). You can catch a taxi back for 4.50 euros. Good security with gate and front doors. Very good value for money and would recommend a stay here.

The location was excellent , just a very short walk to get into the beautiful river walk gardens ,and then into the city . The three gentlemen who manned the reception were so pleasant and very helpful . The whole hotel was very clean ,including the exterior balconies which are often overlooked . Extremely thin partion walls between some rooms !
