Old fashioned Spanish beds that were too small for anyone over 5' 8". No extra blankets. This resulted in a poor nights sleep.
Dinner was OK. Main course options of fish, chicken or vegetarian were disappointing. Fish was like children's nuggets, some of which were mainly bone. Chicken was described as Moroccan style, but was bland. Starters were OK and walnut tart was good. Coffee after dinner was weaker than we would have expected. Wines were underwhelming and breakfast was of a basic continental style. Little choice and felt somewhat mean.
90 euros for accommodation and 58 euros for dinner was expensive for what we got.
The messaging on the owners web site led us to believe the eating and sleeping experience would be of a modern high standard that we are used to in other UK and Spanish B&Bs and small hotels.
Re-read the description of food on booking.com (which is ambiguous) and on the owner's own web site which emphasizes the importance and thought that goes into their cooking. As stated above, this was not our experience, what we got was perfunctory. For us, it was not worth driving up a mountain to go to.
Location with views was good and as expected.
Air-conditioning worked well, although not needed as it was cool at night.
Plunge pool and sitting area was good, although could get crowded.
