The location was excellent, and the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Don't bother to pay €5.00 for the breakfast if it's not included in your deal. It was very limited. We had no hot water - but that was a temporary problem of the hotel. Parking is expensive - but that's just a warning, not the hotel's fault.

Nicely kept and decorated. Room was large. In the old town but not a hectic part.

Desk staff seemed a bit ostentatious. A smile would be nice. No information provided about extra hotel features--restaurant? Laundry? No prices or standard list with minibar. Wifi that I was counting on did not reach my room. Just some things that they did not seem to care to do well.

very central location just within the city walls, extremely quiet and peaceful, friendly helpful reception staff, minibar and large flatscreen TV in the room, option for breakfast (which was very nice), and I could leave my luggage all the next day (after checking out) until my train left in the evening - a huge help. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Avila, it was perfect for my needs.

We loved the corner room with the big solarium-type balcony. The front desk staff were very helpful.

The bathroom door sticks so badly that it feels like you are locking yourself in or out each time it is closed tightly. The lock/wall closure need adjusting.

Great location right in the center of town. Great price for what you get. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Avila.

Parking is far away but what do you expect, it is the center of an old walled city. Bed is very firm but room has a beautiful small balcony.
