Great place, very comfortable and quiet, perfect for a little getaway!! Close to the main cathedral and easy to get to (if you know where you're going!), conveniently located near many restaurants and cafes. The staff were friendly and welcoming. You have your own control over the heat in your room.

I was misinformed twice by reception. First about opening time of the wall, then about the bus schedule. My general advice: don't go to Avila at Christmas, everything will be closed and you won't feel welcome. Even the bus station was closed and scheduled buses didn't show up. Go to Granada instead or stay in Madrid.

Service, cleanness, location

Very clean, modernized, central location inside the Avila walls, close to everything, professional staff, excellent water pressure in shower, mini fridge in room, TV with cable, marble floors in room, balcony.

I think they should offer a continental breakfast for 50 euros. It is not a luxury hotel, but it is worth 50 euros and a coffee/danish style b'fast would add a welcome extra touch. They have a breakfast room and also a cafe/bar and they were closed when we arrived and closed when we woke up. The receptionist said that it is only served until 11am. It was Sunday morning. We're in Spain, where people don't even wake up until 10:30am on a weekend.

My room was lovely and had everything I needed. The hotel staff were excellent - so friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel and really good location inside the city walls. Had a good size double room with an extra bed on the top floor with a corner balcony.

The nearest car park charges 18 euro for an overnight stay. shockingly over priced. The hotel should be looking to secure a better arrangement than this for their customers as there is no onsite parking.

We Liked location, room and comforts as I have said but finding it was very difficult. Instructions from internet were very bad and the map did not even show a city wall to go through.The information office map would have been really good because it actually shows the hotel and where it is. Also we had to park in Parking St Theresa which was expensive and it would have been nice if the hotel had negotiated a discount on the parking ticket. This was done for us at Toledo. Any better directions could have suggested parking there first and then walking to the hotel, it was so close. We were sorry we had not time to stay longer.

Very clean and spacious rooms that provided much better value and comfort than hotels in Madrid that charge twice as much. The location is inside the old walled city and a reasonable walk from the train station.

Location within Avila walls was perfect. The pain of having to lug suitcases to and from garage parking was worth it!

La situación en pleno centro y las habitaciones acogedoras

Hotel espectacular. Para comenzar el personal es muy amable y cercano, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte, aconsejarte y guiarte. Además las habitaciones, más que habitaciones parecen apartamentos. Tienen cocina, salón, y amplio baño y una habitación más grande aún. El decorado del hotel es de muy buen gusto, decorado con sencillez pero elegancia. Y la ubicación inmejorable, justo detrás de la catedral. Tanto es así que desde nuestras ventanas de la habitación de veían los techos y contrafuertes de la misma.

Sobre todo la calidez del servicio

Ubicación perfecta en calle peatonal, al lado de la catedral. Habitación confortable, sin lujos pero correcta.

Podría resultar difícil aparcar cerca del hotel.

A localizaçao era execelente e as condiçoes gerais do quarto tambem.

Limpeza do quarto deixava a desejar, havia muito poeira no chao e dentro dos armarios. Alem disso o cafe da manha era mto pobre em relaçao ao custo.
