Staff Breakfast Location
No Free Wifi in rooms
The facilities -when new - would probably justify the 4* standard in Spain, but not elsewhere. This venue struggled to 3 in my estimation. Whilst facilities were in place they were not well maintained. e.g. Curtain had been torn at some stage and had been 'repaired' with paper staples!
To be fair to the hotel they are probably performing as most of Spain does. i.e. 'don't bother with maintenance' - 'wait until it is broken, then fix it'. The hotel was 'shabby' - tiles around bath were dirty, grout was missing elsewhere.
Very close to the sea and lovely beach. Level walking into town and to fish alley.Plenty of good eating places nearby, Mainly mature people at the hotel. Poolside sunbeds always available. Very few children. Sunday market couldn't be nearer. We are frequent visitors as it is an excellent base.
Hotel is tired (needs to have some euros spend on it to make good).
next to promenade
limited choice of food
Location was great , friendly staff very clean
Hotel was a little dated
The location and overall stay was fine, i probably wouldnt rave and recommend it but it was 'fine'
On arrival the man behind the desk was so rude and miserable?! Not even a hello nothing? Took my passport n passed me the room key and turned away?! Wifi only in lobby not room also signal was terrible just used my own 3G and used all my credit. Pulled back sheets and there was a bug in my bed!!! Just a bit shocked as my family love the place :(
Location to the beach!
Online pictures not what you get!
We have been to the area many times but never stayed so far down the paseo but enjoyed the location . The towels were changed every day and the ladies who did it were very helpful.
We think the hotel is a little tired and could do with some upgrading but all in all we didn't pay a great deal and we were only there for 5 nights .only had breakfast there it was repetitive but ok . Wouldn't stay for any longer than 5days.
The staff were so helpful & friendy
Position is good.
Broken chair on balcony Not enough plug points. Only one behind TV table which did not work. Not enough light in bedroom. Only wall lights on bed head. Fridge did not work unless lights turned on. Worn carpets on stairs to lifts from reception.
Hotel pyramides is a bit tired needs some money spent on it. The breakfast is of a very low standard.
Close to everything- beach, pool, shops, etc
Bed was very poor quality like something out of the 50's, really basic, not comfortable at all. Could have done with a fatter mattress it resembled and felt like something that you would have on a fold out bed....
Bed Food Bathroom Parking Staff
From the moment I entered the Hotel you could sense the Staff were not motivated in their jobs. The Hotel is badly in need of a makeover. The Breakfast was probably the worst I have ever had, the cold water was orange in colour. The Hotel is not a 4 Star and is extremely overpriced. Hope someone in the hotel contacts me re my observations.
Selection for breakfast was excellent. Great to be able to hire pool towels. Reception staff very helpful.
Step in bathroom upto toilet, bathroom was cramped. Would be nice to know if hotel is on a bus route.
The hotel is very shabby and rundown and appears not to have been updated in the last 30-40 years, if ever. The bathroom was a nightmare. In order to take a shower you had to step over a 2 foot ledge and get into a slippery bathtub that had no safety rails. My elderly mother was unable to shower without my assistance. I also resent having to pay extra for Wifi, given the exorbitant amount we were already paying. This was definitely not a 4star hotel!
view, staff were very helpful
décor a bit tired
Location good, close to beach promenade
Sheets were bobbled - i.e. old and worn and uncomfortable. Breakfast run of the mill. Service poor.
The location is good and very quite area. Very close to city centre. Nice views.
They should reform bathrooms and change the decoration. The breakfast was quite poor.
Queuing for breakfast
Swimming pool, balconies, staff willingness at reception, location. Changes to the breakfast layout have improved the flow. Rooms and balconies are very good value even when not renovated.
Normal pillows are better than the long very thin ones which are now used. The pool umbrellas are too large and bulky and still manage to capsize in any wind. Pool staff are occasionally officious. The toast machines should be adjusted to avoid putting the toast through two or three times. The hair dryers in the room are very poor.
The staff was really kind, particularly at the reception which doesn't happen very often. Room was small but enough. There were few things not working and when we notified the reception they fix all of them in the next hour.
You have to pay for everything. Gym, wifi, etc.
On arrival there was a dispute about a double room that was pre booked but on arrival found only single occupation was allowed for room so had to pay € 300.00 So not very happy about that.
The rude staff member in restaurant.
