Le Meridien Ra Beach Hotel and Spa

Poor menu at the restaurant. We stayed for 14 nights and at the end it was too much of the same food - be wider!!!

This hotel is nice - attentive service, nice views, good food. Cocktails in the bar are ok if you are ready to pay 12 euros for a mojito. Lovely spa area with pool, sauna, relaxing sundeck with the sea view. Beach is reasonably clean, they also have bar service on the beach.

This luxury hotel doesn't match surroundings - the town (El Vendrell) is sleepy small place with almost no infrustructure - one street with some souvenir shops, some kebab/fast food/coffee places on the beach front, very boring. In the hotel - two restaurants and a bar - you can eat only there but it is rather expensive. Spa pool is very nice on overall with jacuzzi and massage showers but the engine stoped at least twice during 2 days we spent there.

This hotel is stands on a prettu good beach, although this beach is not a private one, all the beach services are free for the guests. Dinners are pretty good. Breakfast is good bu not excellent. SPA center is good.

We spent our honey moon at Ra and it was a mistake, first of all this is not a 5 star hotel, I would rate it as 4 or 3 plus. Although the building and other facilities seem to be fashionable and luxirious, in fact most of the equipment is outdated and in bad condition. In our particular deluxe room on SPG floor we had the following troubles: floor spoiled by water which made it diffucult to close and open internal door; water coming out of the floor sink in the bathroom, ants making their way through the bathroom and bedroom. All the enquires are accepted very politely but then you wait for execution and nothing happens... you need a bathrobe - nothing, extra towel - nothing, room safe is broken - again nothing. After filing complaint we were offered another room which was smaller with less amenities but had a sea view, this was rejected, no other options came up AND no regret. Staff starts to move only after second reminder. I was really frustrated by such an attitude and insisted on meeting the hotel manager, so I talked to that guy named Steve with almost no result. He only tried to make be happy with a free dinner and a bottle of cheap champaigne. So, if you really want to stay at a 5 star hotel for some special event in your life, Le Meridien Ra should not be your choice.

A pretty big stylish room with a big and very comfortable bed and second bed for a child, big bathroom, very good sound isolation, nice aroma at the hall, great territory, great breakfast, WiFi at all points, a bottle of Champagne as Welcome - Gift. Such pleasant trifles like bath robes and beach - towels.

Terribly food at the Beach - Bar: 17 Euro for a Burger without taste and Lays - Chips and 12 Euro for a "Ceasar" Salad, which was worse as a one from McDonalds for 4 Euro. 25 Euro per day for parking IMHO too much. The beach was although pretty clean, but there were still a lot of cigarette ends in the sand. The area itself (El Vendrell) is small and pretty boring, but it has nothing common with the hotel

We count this hotel among the best experience in terms of European wellness and spa experiences. Very professionally run. Ideally located for a relaxing holiday. Nice beach (clean and very inviting for long strolls), excellent food, friendly staff doing everything possible to give the guests the holiday they are looking for. Congrats.

The floor of the room wasn't clean upon arrival. Looked like somebody walked through it coming from the beach. Drinks on beach are (too) expensive.

We enjoyed our stay in a hotel and would come back there once again! The beach, the stuff, breakfast, spa - everything was perfect!! Very friendly place. We felt almost at home and it was good time for us! Special thanks to Maria - administrator - she was our photographer for an hour and helped to understand possibilities of our own photo camera! :) Shw was very nice to us!!! :) Thanks to all of you for making our stay comfortable!

Unfortunately there was a small problem with our conditioning in a room - it was not so fresh, but the stuff tried to help - but it didn't work. I suppose it was because of the sistem problem and it was not so easy to repair! So, guys - room number 12 - take a note - repair the conditioning!!! :)

Fantastic location, we had a great room with a side view to Ocean and beach, good facilities, good gym, all together worth to go, one restaurant was very good (the buffet and breakfast place), stay away from the "a la carte" restaurant... beach is beautiful, pool area nice but to small and (season) growded....the place is also good to improve your Russian language skills... for a short stay like 3-4 days we would go back there any time Certainly not a bargain and the 5 stars seem to be just a little bit over rated...but over all I would give the place 8 of 10 possible points.

staff response and quality is not equally good...some are just perfect, very nice and make you feel at home, others run pass you 5 times ignoring you when you try to order...in the outside seating aerea on the terrace we were sometimes waiting up to 15 minutes before we could order(same for check out), drinks are expensive, even for a place like that While buffet restaurant was great, the other "a la carte place" was not only bad, the food was disgusting, and anyway expensive....

Le Meridien at El Vendrell is an excellent Hotel. Lives up to most expectations.

Only thing to improve is the behaviour of the cleaning staff. They came several times to the room and gave us two minutes to leave the room for cleaning. No excause for dumping in without any warming. There is no excause for rude behaviour.

There was a good beach and also a good spa. The salt spa pools were great. Good choice of food at the buffets. Also friendly attentive staff. Fair choice of restaurants. Relaxing atmosphere.

The restaurants in the evening were very expensive and a bit restricting.

Well-equipped beach, nice warm pool, good breakfast at the open terrace, good internet.

Terrible conditioning system at the entire hotel. The only place where it is really cool is the main lobby. All the rooms (we had 2 rooms), corridors, elevators were totally hot. Small balconies - not suitable for the resort. Dirty floor to ceiling windows in both rooms. Terribly dirty carpets in corridors.

Everything was just perfect. I can highly recommend this hotel. We fell in love with the location, the spa, food and even the staff.

Dinner prices were expensive for what you get and buffet dinner was too expensive ..I Spent over $1200 for 6 days..please give me a break on food and beverages .We went down the strand to some very nice restaurants at 1/3 the price . They had no shuttle available to train station and we hired a taxi ..The Resort could afford this to better serve patrons.

La tención es excepcional. Llevo años yendo regularmente, y siempre tienen un servicio excelente.

En general todo, el personal muy amable, habitacion confortable, instalaciones muy buenas, perfecto para pasar unos días de relajación

El bufet del desayuno era muchisimo mejor tiempo atras.
