Location in the old Town was very convenient for the important sites. Internal decorations were excellent and atmospheric, facilities were also very good.
The rooms are beautifully decorated and quite luxurious especially the bathrooms
Like all courtyard pensions, this was a little noisy, but not too bad.
Location perfect for the old part of Cordoba. Hostal decor and style of the room was lovely. Parking available too for 10 euros a day Staff helpful and friendly
great atmosphere, very friendly staff
no sleep when needed (may depend on room) - you can here your neighbours sleep etc.
very cute hotel, lots of character. very friendly and helpful staff - all staff.
no wifi in room, very small shower.
Barely slept, had a room at the front of the hotel and there was so much noise on the street all night long that we had a poor night of sleep
the decor the location close to everything. it was big enough for 4 adults and clean.
It was a very well located hotel where you could get some rest during the hot hours of the afternoon. Very peacefull, beautiful decoration and friendly personnel.
The hotel is very charming in the architecture and decor. The location was fantastic, less than a 10 minute walk to the Mezquita, and lots and fantastic restaurants and shopping. The hotel's parking garage is fairly close and safe.
Cordoba was a very stressful city to drive/navigate. As we were driving, the hotel was a little difficult to locate, though I think any hotel would be stressful to locate if driving.
If you want to really feel the spirit of Córdoba have to stay at this hotel. Filled with magical charm of the Arab spirit. Here you can really feel in the Arabian tale. Very good location for visiting the main tourist destinations. There is parking nearby.
The bathrooms , the bed , everything was very clean wich was important , the location not so very good just pay close attention to the signs , good restaurants a round it and the Roman bridge , the mesquita wich are the famous tourist attractions are just 10 min away on foot. So I would recommend this place to anybody.
Perfect location. Romantic and funky Moorish decor. Very helpful and friendly staff, but not at all intrusive. I got a terrible tooth infection and the one of the staff made phone calls for me and gave me directions to a dentist and told me what I should get at the pharmacy for pain. A great value too I would definitely stay there again.
You have to go into the lobby to connect to wifi but that is probably a good thing since being in Cordoba is an opportunity to connect to extraordinary historical surroundings...no need for virtual experiences.
The ambience was great--like exotic Morocco.
Small bathroom with tiny shower .
We stayed one night, and it happened that the boiler broke down and there was no hot water both in the evening and in the morning. On the positive side was that the staff have made an effort to find me another room where there was hot water to take my shower (although they took all morning to do that and wasted a lot of our time).
The room I had booked was not available, and we were given a cheaper room, which of course was far less comfortable, as it was in the attic and therefore extremely hot. The ceiling was so low that we couldn't stand up in the room (and we are very short people), so bed was just a mattress on the floor, and we had a terrible time sleeping and the pillow was hard as a stone. The aforementioned absence if the hot water was a big problem too, and the owners did not even offer a discount for the mess-up. We were also forced to pay by cash instead of card, as we were told that the payment terminal wasn't working that day. Withdrawing cash carries a high fee on my account, so I specifically choose hotels that allow card payments. Overall, we felt that we were robbed at every step of the way, and the hotel owners were crooks.
The moorish decor and all of the little touches with seating alcoves, textiles patterns and artwork made this a very charming place to stay. We also enjoyed the location as we could easily walk to the Mezquita; a must see. The hotel also had paid parking in their lot across the lane which was very convenient. The A/C worked very well considering it was a 36 C day.
As there was no lift carrying our bags up a flight of stairs was a bit of a strain but we knew this in advance. There was only one electric plug in our family room, the lighting was a bit dim.
Really friendly staff especially with an unexpected birthday surprise! Really nice room too.
Great location Atmospheric hostel Helpful staff
central position, foot distance from the centre, moorish decor
Mørke små værelser
Warm and friendly service.
Bathroom needed more soap/shampoo but this is hardly considered a complaint.
Great value for money. The hotel looks really nice. Rooms face an indoor patio. The rooms were decorated in a moroccan style and we really liked it. Clean room and good bathroom. The location is also great. A lot of good restaurants nearby and walking distance to the mosque.
Room was quite dark. Not enough sunlight came through the very small window and the lights weren't so bright.
The Moorish decor is lovely .
The installations are NOT what it seems, the laundry isnt clean, there is no reliable staff and the parking near Pascoa is not accessible. The price for a triple room is way excessive.
The location and friendliness of the staff. All the important sites are in walking distance and there are plenty of places to dine and wine.
Getting direction was complicated and between noon and 3pm the English speaking staff were not available and if one does not speak Spanish that becomes somewhat difficult. But this should not by any means discourage staying there. On the hand it is part of the charm of the place and the people they run it.
Location, cleanless, value for money.
The reception staff performed a noisy conversation late in the evening, so we couldn't sleep. A/C didn't work - it was hot in the room.
