Location and bedroom view. San Sebastian is a gorgeous city and the tapas restaurants everywhere in the city are to die for I first stayed here in 1969...It has not changed much other than the price (625 pesetas in 1969 now over 230 euro with parking charge) It has not been modernized to any extend. It is showing its age. Check in staff was with a learner and not particularly helpful or attentive. Mattress was very poor for such an expensive hotel. Lobby crowded with package tourists. No dedicated shower with the normal awful clinging curtain.Room electronic key problematic.

Excellent location, very clean, very comfortable and incredibly quiet for being city centre and right on the beach. Staff were excellent. No tea/coffee available in room.

Location is excellent. Staff at front desk is helpful Lobby can use an update (new carpeting and fabrics). It is a bit tired. I feel there is a need for an exercise facility in the hotel to cater to a younger generation of traveler who is more health conscious.

The best locatin, absolutely! And the most perfect gin tonics in the world. I booket via booking.com and I tought breakfast was included, but it was not. It was a bit surprise, I would like to book so that breakfast is always included the room price. But all in all, we were very happy and defenitely will stay in Londres if we come back to San Sebastian.

location was great although rather noisy if having city facing room as buses stop right outside. Excellent restaurant and very friendly staff. Charming city and wonderful sea front and bars in the old town.

Stunning view from sea-side rooms. Fastest room service I've ever had. Helpful staff. Parking is available, but there were problems with it. On arrival, we were told the attendent would not be there until 5 pm. We parked ourselves, as did other guests, but was very confusing. Not appropriate for 20 euro fee.

We only spent one night but it was very nice and comfortable. The hotel is in the middle of town with one side next to the beach. You might consider the extra charge for a sea view room. We didn't though. The old town is a 10 to 15 minute walk along the shoreline. Nice town for tourists.

Location was superb - directly on esplanade above the beach with a faboulous view over San Sebastian's magnificent bay. Also, located at the edge of the central shopping area and less than 5 minutes walk from the historic old town.

Definitely the location. Tapas, gourmet eating, classy shopping, beach, parks, museums are all within easy walking distance. Staff was often unfriendly. They did not call us for a wakeup call. They charged twenty euros a day for parking. They charged for beach towels. They charged for wifi. It really adds up!
