My reservation was for 1 double bed, and I receive a room with two beds put together!!
Immediately after check in I went to the reception again and explained. They wanted to blame booking.com saying it was not mentioned in your reservation, but when I showed them my reservation, it was mentioned clearly 1 double.
They promised to change it next day. Next day, after we came back to the hotel, nothing was changed!! I went back to reception and she didn’t believe it herself, and she said I will call the PR manager Sonia.
Sonia came and did apologize and promised that it will be fixed in the 3rd night, which is our final night, and she promise that she will compensate us for the inconvenience.
After coming back to the hotel on the 3rd day, we found 4 pieces of strawberries dipped with chocolate!!
The funny part is that they did change the mattress, but they didn’t change the blankets!! I mean we have king bed with two single blankets!!
Note that I paid the hotel for full board. Their breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a buffet. So 4 pieces of strawberry is a joke.
In conclusion, they destroyed my vacation, I spent more time with Sonya and in the reception than exploring the island.
I don’t recommend this hotel, it’s overpriced compared to the services you are getting. Actually, as I explained, they didn’t even give me what I have paid for. Average food, and they charge for everything (WIFI, Suna, Jacuzi..etc).
“Seaside Palm Beach” and “IFA Faro Hotel” have better rooms/facilities, and they are even closer to Maspalomas beach and the shops.
