The genuine five star hotel in Bilbao: Frank Gehry drew his first sketches of the Guggenheim Museum in one of its rooms.

It has ever since been related to the museum and chosen by every distinguished visitor to the city: from Jane Fonda to the Dalai Lama, along with Gwyneth Paltrow or Lenny Kravitz, have made this hotel their home in Bilbao.

Located in downtown Bilbao, the hotel is ideally situated just a five minute walk away from the Guggenheim Museum and next to the rest of city attractions.

Good value but it is not a 5 stars Hotel. But the price (around 100€) was OK with the standing of this hotel

Nobody opened the lobby door when we arrived with a lot of luggage. The bathroom was not totally clean.

Location but on a quiet side street. Facilities are very spacious and modern.

The charge for the laundry (not dry cleaning) seemed a bit much, although it was packaged so beautifully that my wife insisted on taking a photograph.The bar was too American for me, as I wanted to experience the rich Basque culture present elsewhere in Bilbao.

very disappointing. room set up as single room so had to ask fro 2 towels. They then did not think to add extra glasses/robes etc. room very small as werwe othersin category. porter on door very indifferent. bars alslo indifferent servce and did not serve cocktails.although had menu for them on previous day. supposed to be quiet location and was with little traffic but very noisy spillout from ba

It was an effortless stay. Car was immediately parked, staff concerned to give good service. It was quiet and very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Hôtel très bien situé à proximité du Gugenheim et près du centre ville et relativement près de l'ancienne ville. Le personnel est très accueillant, le service de qualité. Très copieux et succulent petit déjeuner. séjour de très courte durée.

Une restauration du jardin de la cour intérieur serait à souhaiter, car le vue est un peu désolante par rapport à l'environneemnt du quatier.
