The location was great.
Because of it great location it could be very noisy late at night.
the bed was not very good and made sleep difficult for two people. Lights were not very good, including using bathroom light at night.
Location is really y good
No privacy for you and your "guests" Not very friendly at the reception. Flooding after every shower. Room service still not finished at 3pm. The room temperature was to cold and no real possibility of heating up the room (in winter).
Location and wiFi are great.
Breakfast could be better. Small rooms. One of the guys at the reception could be nicer.
Furnishings in room were dated and grotty. Hotel was depressingly dark. Walls very thin, rotten door frame in bathroom.
price, too hot, old fashioned

It is in a good site and the personal attention is nice
They should change the curtains and the bed clothes
I've made a reservation of a superior double room with full upfront payment with no refund option. However upon arrival they gave us a common double room of much worse quality, no compensation of price difference has been given! I consider this as a cheating, they just took money for a better room and gave a worse room, the staff was completely helpless and unfriendly. Worst welcome I've ever received.
Rooms a bit dark and the lights turning off was annoying. No fresh towels given on 2nd night. T
They are friendly and helpful and speak English. Great location.
On Saturday night the square nearby was noisy, but only for those with rooms in the front.
Close to so much!!
The location is terrific, you're in the center of the city and have access to everything by a walk. Metro station in 2 minutes walk
You pay for the location. We booked a superior double room which was a small room as big as our bed with less of a meter room around it. Moreover, the double bed were 2 single Beds, one next to the other. Overall, the room was clean and safe, with an excellent location. However, it is overpriced for what it is.
Very clean hotel with very friendly and helpful English speaking staff. The location was excellent, very close to all atractions. Wi-fi is fast and good. Real value for money :)
The location of the hotel is excellent,Staff very nice and courteous, clean room
Breakfast is basic,I think that's enough
Room was adequate and clean. Breakfast was worth the 5 Euros. Front desk very helpful. Location was 2 blocks from Gran Via. Real nice restaurant one block away.
There was some remodeling going on but not a real problem. The one thing I was unhappy about was the bath tub. It was slick and my wife took a minor tumble. There are no grab bars. That is a must improvement as far as I'm concerned.
The window kept out most of the noise. Basic but adequate
Bed too hard. Bathroom v small
Location is perfect, very clean, very comfortable rooms, bar opens 24 hours, the staff is very nice, especially a guy from Rumania named Sorin, he helped us plan the rest of our trip when we couldnt sleep because of jetlag.
we liked everything, except for the fact that it was full for a couple of days and we had to stay somewhere else, you should do the booking on time so you make sure to get a room.
Location, the staff is very helpful and speaks English.
The square nearby can be noisy on the weekends.
Great location, in the very centre, yet not too noisy. Good value for money
Breakfast wasn't worth the price, toast only and something they called coffee
the location, being at the centre of things and good access to nightlife, galleries, parks and city centre it was clean and well attended to daily by cleaning staff
external building works were in progress and, aside from early morning noise from them weekdays, the entire outside frontage of the building was encased in scaffolding and protective covering meaning balconies were not accessible, no outside views could be seen and the room was dark inside [I appreciate building works have to be done and this may be why the price charged had been lowered but I strongly feel I should have been advised of this beforehand so I could have chosen whether to stay there. This was my first visit to Madrid and it was spoilt by this situation - had I known I would have opted to pay more for better facilities elsewhere] sound proofing between rooms and corridors was poor - noise was transmitted very easily and even conversations could be heard clearly in adjacent rooms
Small room Bad hotel
Very small room Poor equipment Photos does not reflect the real condition of the hotel
The staff in the hotel REALLY speaks English and is very helpful. Also good offer of one day trips which turned out to be helpful as I had very little time. Warm water available all the time. Despite the central location close to high streets and nightlife the room was very quiet.
Slight smell of old pipes in the bathroom.
