Wonderful! The manager, Antonio made us feel at home. Words can not describe the view from our apartment....stunning! On arrival we were treated with freshly baked ciabatta and 2 kinds of olive oil. The kitchen -well equipped small scale "gourmet" , with a lovely view! Beautiful rim flow pool. Los Castillareros Apartmentos is well situated for day visits to Cordoba, Baena (where a visit to the olive oil factory of "Nunez de Prado" is a must ), Granada, Jaen, Baeza,Ubeda, to name only a few. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Will definitely stay here again!!

We received an extremely friendly reception. The large room with wonderful views was immaculate. The infinity pool features even more spectacular views. The communial rooms were comfortably furnished. Everything you would need.

Excellent view of the countryside. Staff made us feel at home and provided outstanding service during our short stay.

I liked it ALL

The owner/staff were very kind and enthusiastic. Perfect view, absolutely prefect. The location is in the middle of Zuheros and Luque, 2 km away from either town. The pool is great as well.

Very friendly staff. Paulino tried to achieve ervery wishes we had. It is the best place for relaxation. The pool is great! Unexpected we got a good breakfast for only 4 Euro/person. Making breakfast by ourself was possible too, but we liked Paulinos meal. Unfortunately we staid only one night and hab no time for more nights there.

Apartments are situated in the countryside up on a hill between Cordoba and Granada, The scenery from all rooms is outstanding - rolling hills of olive trees everywhere! The apartment is spacious and full air-conditioned. Antonio made us very welcome and despite language barrier tried his utmost to make himself understood and help us with our requirements / queries.

Kitchen with apartment is very lacking. No toaster, kettle or freezer! Limited selection of pots and some china was chipped. This defeated the scope of us renting an apartment with a kitchen since we could hardly prepare breakfast let alone dinner. We could not keep a tub of ice-cream to enjoy in the evening. Room service is not included whilst towels are only changed twice weekly. We only got to know after the first day after having soiled the towels provided. Antonio did however provide us with new towels on informing him of our predicament.

On arrival we had a friendly greeting by one of the owners. Our apartment was light,bright and spacious. The furniture was modern and tasteful. Our balcony overlooked the olive-groves with lovely views. We had breakfast each day and it was continental style and was good for 4 euro. You can book a 3 course evening meal with wine for 19 euro; you need to book in advance and you select your choice from the menu displayed. There are very nice terraces leading from the lounge which overlook the large infinity pool with plenty of space for relaxing. Very clcose by are two hillside villages of Luque and Zuheros bother offering places of interest bars and restaurants. This is a good area for walking and sight seeing. There are a number of large towns to visit. A very nice stay, we would certainly book again when in the area.

Good value for the money! Large apartment with a good double bed, well equipped kitchen and private terrace. The pool (recently enlarged) has a fantastic view! Very friendly staff! They don't speak a lot of English, but they are very friendly and helpful! The 4 euro breakfast is also good value for the money (but it is 4 euros per person, so don't expect scrambled eggs etc). We can recommend the gorge walk in Zuheros! Very nice trail!

Minor: No towel change during our 4 nights visit.

A nice quiet place for (older) people who like tranquiliity and extraordinary views over the hills next to a natural parc. The personnel is very friendly and willing to fulfill your wishes. A good place to see Cordoba, Granada and Malaga (a bit far though).

Geweldige rustige omgeving, prachtig uitzicht. Zuheros en luque dichtbij. En geweldig aardige eigenaar die ons toen we verdwaald waren in luque met de scooter kwam ophalen en naar het appartement meenam. Prachtig zwembad met uitzicht over de vallei.

Er was geen dunschiller of aardappelschilmesje . de keuken is goed maar minimaal uitgerust.

Antonio est très sympathique et convivial. Il explique tout. Il possède deux VTT avec lesquels nous pouvons faire des ballades sur la via verde, une ancienne voie ferrée plane de 60 jm passant en dessous de l'hotel. La piscine est magnifique ainsi que les chambres spacieuses.

Insonorisation perfectible des chambres. Il manque un grille pain ainsi qu'une bouilloire pour le thé.

Het personeel (= de eigenaars ) waren ongelofelijk aardig en behulpzaam. Het naburige dorp Zuheros is heel bijzonder

De stank af en toe van de (overigens met olijf-afval gestookte) energiecentrale op enige kilometers afstand.

Apartemento muy grande con vistas fantasticas tambien desde la piscina. Empleados muy atentos. Senderismo possible desde el hotel.

Tout est tres chique. La vue est extraordinaire est te fais retenire le soufle. Il te reste un grain de tristesse pour l'arrivee trop tarde et le depart trop tot....

l'acceuil le cadre

El personal ha sido excelente, muy atentos simpáticos, amables...GENIAL. La cama cómoda, el cuarto de baño es amplio y grande, la cocina muy equipada, la piscina muy limpia, las vistas desde cualquier ventana de nuestra habitación eran geniales.

Lo único que no me ha gustado es que los 3 días que pasamos allí deberian de haber sido 30 días porque fueron muy bonitos y relajantes. TODOS ESTÁ GENIAL EN LOS CASTILLAREJOS!!!

Alles prima, niets om aan te merken. Geen aanvullingen op alle eerder genoemde enthousiaste reacties.

Het appartement was fantastisch met een schitterend utzicht en het personeel was buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil,la piscine ,l'espace , la vue, sa proximité de Cordoue et Grenade,trés bonne huile d'olive!

La literie du lit d'appoint(canapé)

Quiere "limpiar la vista" después de ver ciudades y mucha gente ? - este es su lugar ! Atención de primera por Antonio, ubicación única en medio de interminables campos de olivos. Alberca para descansar después de excursiones en bicicleta. Habitaciones amplias. En pocas palabras: paraíso en tierra.

Mooie locatie, voldoende comfort en wij hadden een royaal appartement met groot balkonterras. Zuheros is leuk, Luque handig.

Gehorig complex (schuiven stoelen praten en deuren hoor je goed). Keukenuitrustig beperkt en tafel op balkonterras zou welkom zijn.

Mooi appartement met grandioos uitzicht. De eigenaren waren erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De ligging, direct aan de wandel/fietsroute Via Verde.

Baddoeken worden maar 1x per 3 dagen gewisseld. Badkamer is mooi maar niet praktisch, je moet dweilen na iedere douchebeurt en daar heb je dan geen baddoek voor.
