Easy walking distance from the train station and close to the attractions we wanted to see - the Roman Theatre and the Forum.

Unfortunately we thought that booking.com was going to pay the bill, however it was not received by the hotel and we had to pay.

We were able to check in at 11 am, and into an upgraded room at no extra cost. Very good value and very high standard for a 3 star hotel, and very helpful reception and household staff.

The location was easy walking distance to the port. The room was large, clean and the a/c very effective. The bathroom good with lots of room and hot water. The bar area was well laid out and the staff were, in the main, good.

We arrived on a Sunday and asked about parking. We were told it was 10 euro per night for hotel parking, but they did not tell us that on street parking (blue zone) outside the hotel was free until Monday morning. Also free parking was available within 100m of the hotel.

the hotel is very nice,with lovely friendly and helpful staff,nothing is to much trouble, very clean, good location for shop,s site seeing, we have stayed at Los Habaneros on several occasions and will be happy to go there again.

VERY uncomfortable bed and pillows. No room tea or coffee facility!

Lack of car parking facilities.

That the Hotel was so close to everything and especially the beautiful Port and Town of Cartagena, the Habaneros Hotel great value for money and bedroom was both spacious and very clean, we will certainly be staying at this Hotel in the future!

Loved our private balcony, views over the city after dark were spectacular. Large room, very comfortable, and quiet. Nice plagues on the hall walls which were interesting.

Nice spacious rooms. Restaurant was superb value. A very nice hotel and an extremely pleasant stay.

No one at the hotel was aware that there is a bus (public transport) which will take you down to the harbour and other key sites. It is the circular route 8 from right opposite the hotel. Everything may be accessible in a 10 minute walk if you are fit! This is important for the elderly who might find the walk in a bit much especially if disabled and having advised taxis in Cartagena are amongst the most expensive in Spain. The staff at the tourist information centre were also unaware of this bus service!

Ideally located. Just a short stroll from main shopping area and cages. Roman Theatre and castle are close by as well

Could possibly have tea and coffee making facilities in rooms

Walking distance from bus and train stations. Close to historic sites and tourist destinations. Close to many restaurants.

No armchair in the room. No coffeemaker.

Friendly hotel, clean and good quality rooms

Having to renew wifi connection every three hours was a real pain and was difficult to reconnect. They need to change this because would put me off using the hotel again

The hotel was very clean and the receptionist exceptionally helpful.

The bed was too firm for me personally!

Noise from lift seemed to rumble through the night. Rubbish collection early hours of morning front of hotel.

Handy location and good value. The desk responded to a room problem with an immediate reduction.

Aircon was not working well and the room was hot and stuffy without leaving a window open (and attract the noise from a bar in the alley below). Also it a had a smell of drains. But we were given a discount!

The location was relatively central, and the facilities were reasonably good. The restaurant was decent.

The internet signal was not strong enough to work in our room. The building looked a bit old and dowdy.

It was comfortable. Easy to find.

Restaurant not always open. Bar not always open. Nearest bar and restaurant. 15 mins walk. Good location for the attractions in Cartagena. Was a bit noisy at times .

For our city break it was ideally placed for exploring by foot. Its a very interesting city

rooms were very clean and the staff generally pleasent

was noisy on our second night due to a party being held and the bar staff filling the bottle bank up in the middle of the night.

Great value hotel in the centre of the city and great value for money mini suit room on the top floor with lovely veiws over the city. Will use this hotel again

Food very poor and rooms need modernising. Should say on web site too far from touristic things. No Fridge in the rooms in spain that is bad
