Los Olivos Hotel has a 3-star rating and is located right in central Arcos de la Frontera in the province of Cadiz. It is an old, traditional Andalusian-style house that was built in 1912 and adapted to become a hotel in 1986. It was last refurbished in 2002. The hotel sleeps a total of 37 people. Built in true local style, it has whitewashed walls, wrought iron railings on the windows, ochre-colored roof tiles and a pretty central courtyard full of plant pots and decorated with chairs and coffee tables. Guests are served under palm trees and there is a lovely bar from where a stone well can be seen. The hotel is in one of the most central streets of the city, on the main parallel and only a short walk from its historic center of town, declared a national historic/artistic monument in 1962. Hotel Rooms: 19 Most recent booking for this hotel was yesterday at 18:48 from United States of America.

Super location, with a magnificent view from the front of the building, especially from the rooftop terrace. Very friendly staff, classy rooms, and a lovely courtyard area in the front of the building. Surprisingly quiet around Easter. There are tapas bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel. Limited coin-payment parking outside. You are only supposed to stay for a maximum of 2 hours but, from memory, the payment period lasts between 17:00 and 20:00, and also starts again at 09:00 next morning.

A very pleasant hotel well furbished and maintained. Staff helpful - nothing too much trouble. Has a car park which was vital to our stay. No restaurant which meant a walk up a very steep hill every night.

The standard of the room: very comfortable and spacious. We liked the traditional Andalusian architecture of the hotel with a beautiful inside patio. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very convenient being able to park in the hotel car park even though you have to pay extra. The hotel is very well situated next to the historic centre and near shops and restaurants. We had a lovely time, walking around the old town: beautiful old buildings and fantastic views of the countryside. There were many restaurants and tapas bars. The restaurant recommended by the receptionist was very good. The only thing which could be improved is the lighting in the bedroom; An extra light over the mirror near the entrance of the room would have been good but it was not a big problem.

A lovely family run hotel, very clean and the staff were very helpful. Quaint little breakfast room, which I do recommend you all try. More hooks required in the bathroom to hang towels.

This is a very good well managed hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, they all spoke or understood english. the off road parking was behind a locked gate as a motorcyclist this was much appreciated. We had a front room which was nice, it was quiet but could be noisy in the summer. We enjoyed are stay here, and will come again.

We have stayed here many times and love this hotel. Our son lives in Arcos so we know all the the hotels and B&B´s quite well. We have been visiting Arcos for about ten years, but this is our favourite. We travel a lot but this is perhaps the friendliest, most comfortable and cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is very well positioned in the centre of Arcos with enclosed secure parking, which is a fantastic plus. The hotel is most attractive and typically Andalucian. If you are visitng Arcos this hotel, we think, is the best and most welcoming place to stay. Definately our favourite and very good value for money

It was utterly peaceful. The rooms were good-sized for Europe, and there was a bathtub. We had the "toast and coffee/tea" breakfast, 2.5 euros, beautifully served.

Good location though difficult to find because city signage was poor or hidden by trees. Location was great, staff was friendly and helpful, had secure parking for a fee, spacious room and overall a great hotel.

Impossible to find hotel, map of town difficult to follow - no English channels on tv - restaurants in the area not particularly good, very limited choice of food for a holiday area - it took us 5 nights to be able to comfortably find our way back to the hotel and only on last night did we find a small taverna which cooked a tasty meal and then only tapas.

It was easy to find by car and the parking was excellent but our room was located on a very busy main street up the side of the old town and if the windows were open it was extremely noisy. This location is unfair to the hotel as it has a charming comfortable feel and has clearly been there for many years before the town routes were restructured. We would recommend the hotel but suggest taking a room at the back!

We stayed there last week 24-26 May 2011 - four ladies who hired a car and drove down from Seville. This was so easy to find - the Hotel was very easy to locate at the top of the village facing down into the valley. A beautiful hotel with a fantastic inner courtyard where you could sit and have breakfast. Up on the next level you could sit outside in the air surrounded by beautiful geraniums and then there was the roof garden where you could sunbathe or just admire the view roght around the valley. The staff were incredibly friendly - i had my laundry done which cost little or nothing and the place was spotless. Make sure you visit all the white towns - do the complete journey accross the mountain as its stunning - you should get them all done in one day and then go back and up to one of the restaurants up near the castle - great place great people.
