This is quite an upmarket hotel and about 12 years old. It stands impressively on a hillside in Santiago and is easy to locate (although sometimes difficult to get to unless you have a gps). I reserved a Twin/Double room but was upgraded to one of only four Junior Suites- rather like a one bedroom townhouse with your own lounge area and garage. It was very quiet and private. (I think booking with Booking.com is good because it gives the hotel an incentive to give you the best, knowing that a positive review which may result is to its advantage.) The breakfast(buffet) was the best I had had in 4 weeks of travelling Asia and Europe-not overcooked and real orange juice!! Dinner was available in the restaurant-high quality but a bit limited choice I thought and a little expensive. There was a free shutttle service to and from the Old City centre whenever you required it. I had no complaints. The hotel required that the charge be made in advance possibly by credit card.

I was very disappointed by the hotel due to it's poor management. When I got into my room, first I found safety box not working. It couldn't function even after staff came and tried. Secondly the tv controller was too complicated, and difficult to know hot to use. I saw two guests showing up at the frond desk for similar problems. Thirdly the most important for me, the wifi signal, from my room was very and that night was totally not function at all. Though my room is very big, with a bed room and another living room, but they were separated into upper and lower levels, and I actually not used the living room at all.

Overall, this was one of the best hotels I have ever been in. It had the feel of luxury and the price was fantastic because of hotel.com. I simply loved my stay there. I cannot say it was convenient, because it was outside the city and there were no shops around, but I knew that ahead of time, so there were no surprises. I did find the staff to be a bit stressed, especially the waiter in the evening in the rest area. He obviously needed more help, but he was polite...just stressed. But the morning buffet people were fine, as were those at the desk. They were very helpful. No problem to get the free shuttle service but you had to realize that the shuttle did not go into the city center. You had a good walk, but very doable, and the taxi was always an option, and not so expensive.

The hotel is of a very good standard, set in its own gardens which are lovely for a stroll after dinner. There are nicely furnished, quiet reading rooms on each floor. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spacious and the bathrooms nicely fitted. The shuttlebus into Santiago is quick and convenient; you just call and they fetch you with no need to wait for a set pick up time. There is also no charge to park your car in the hotel carpark which rare these days. The buffet breakfast is very pricey but at least there is the set breakfast option in the lobby bar, which includes fresh orange juice, coffee/tea etc and croissant/toast/bun for 5,50€, which is fine if you are there for 1 night or 2 but rather limited if you are there for a week. Shuttle is not available on Sundays. The safe in our room was `awaiting a part`& so was not servicible, although Reception did offer to store our valuables in their safe. No access to Internet to allow me to book a hotel for our return journey. I was told it was `not working`.

One of the best money/value hotels I've ever seen. We stayed in gorgeous 2-level suite with an individual car park for EUR 100 including buffet breakfast. The hotel restaurant is awesome. Hotel staff and waiters are very friendly and helpful.

We were upgraded to a junior suite from the very friendly woman in the reception. The 2 rooms were on two floors and very nicely decorated. All the staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was amazing, very clean and comfortable. The location was not within walking distance to the city centre however the free shuttle bus was an excellent service meaning that this wasn't an issue. We would recommend to anyone and will most definitely go back if we return to Santiago.

I liked the little chapel on site, also enjoyed our hotel room. We initially were given a room that smelled of smoke and a view of the interior resort. I went back to the reception and asked to change the room. once we changed rooms I had no complaints. Our room was large and and clean and we had a beautiful view. The shuttle service is somewhat misleading, you really need a car if you are going to stay here. The shuttle service is by reservation and can take a long time to arrive. If it is in use you have to wait for it to arrive. Also you have to have a cell phone, to be able to call the hotel to come and pick you up.

Attractive property and very comfortable. I liked the free shuttle to the city attractions, although the hours were a little odd and not always practical for the visitor. The gym equipment did not work and that is a main reason I select a hotel. They placed (different) families with loud children next to my room every night, so I did not sleep at all due to the noise. Since the hotel was not nearly fully booked, it seems they could place familes with children in one of the wings and adults who want peace and quiet in another.

Good prices for Año Nuevo. Great buffet desayuno. Bar menu good. The shuttle into Santiago didn't run on año nuevo, but it was ok, parking is cheap in Santiago.

Though it's 10 minutes from the center, I really like the location. It's a quiet and peaceful place. It has very good rooms for a family like mine, with two children.

Very nice hotel. Decent sized rooms, well run, clean & very relaxing. Free wifi which is good, if you dont have a laptop with you the free internet computer is ancient and very slow. Bar prices are very cheap for a hotel, restaurant prices however are on the high side. Good hotel, staff are very helpful as well

Location was great, but need a car, although they have a courtesy buss to the centre, many more places to explore around. Would thoroughly recommend navigation system if you are travelling from the airport. Lovely hotel and would stay again.

The family room was most probably at the same level than the other rooms. This is not always the case in **** hotels. The location. The view is nice but the hotel is neither in the countryside nor in the center of a city. It is are somewhere in between.
