Everything seemed pretty much OK but in matter of location is excellent either to visit Granada or go skiing
Reception staff very helpful
35 mins from Sierra Nevada car park and a €10 cab ride to centre of Granada. Very modern hotel with helpful staff. Exceptionally good value for money.
Showers in rooms were quite poor. Staff were very helpful but not a lot of English spoken. Very minor complaints!
The Hotel.- Staff - Service - Food - Garage All excellent.
Poor location.- If you would like to eat out, you would need to use your car or Taxi. There is one Bar within 50 meters then you are looking at over a mile
Beautiful room, we were staying In a junior suite on top floor. It was massive, and very clean. Also the lobby is great and lovely atrium with a beautiful picture of Alhambra.
On arrival there was a fresh fruit plate that wasn't fresh -more like 2 to 3 days old. When I mentioned this in the reception they apologised. I was expecting to have the plate there for the second night, but that didn't happen. Also breakfast is really bad considering the rest of the hotel and its facilities. The cheese looked dark around edges, the ham and bacon was the cheapest you can get and fruit ruined out after the first two hours.
it was all good
Why would anyone in their right mind come to Granada, with all those charming houses, and stay in a big monstrosity of a building like this? Simple, the location is great. If you want to visit the Alhambra (and let's face it, for many people this is the main reason of visiting Granada) this is a great spot. You are there in no time. Rooms are clean, the lobby is modern.
View out of the window a tad depressing. Staff not very interested.
Nice breakfast, fair price. Non-centric location; but close to the road to Sierra Nevada.
Easy access by car and good safe parking. Good location to leave the car and travel to city by bus and easy drive to Sierra Nevada. Rooms modern and clean.
The hotel details and our booking said room available from 12.00 but when we arrived we were told it was not available until 14.00.
Traveling with a 2 year old. Room: Booked a "double room" but was given two singles pushed together. This is fairly typical in Europe but definitely hurts when trying to sleep with child who is too old to sleep in a cot but too small to have his/her own bed. Food: Breakfast was decent, no espresso machine which is too bad as I prefer it very much over filtered coffee. Dinner was a little bit disappointing I must say. Location: Extremely close to Alhambra by car (4 min) so cabbing is not so bad. We however were traveling by rental car which made it convenient to travel to the city center as well. Service: One female receptionist was extremely helpful and pleasant, another male counterpart was the coldest receptionist I encountered during my one week trip in Andalucia. I suppose overall it is what you can expect in medium to large hotel in Spain. In summary, it was a level of quality I usually expect from a hotel between 100 and 150 Euros a night in Europe, however in my case i spent 132 Euros for two nights including parking (which was 10 a night). At the same rate I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Granada and definitely visiting the Alhambra palace. Especially if you are traveling by car.
To summarize, Location: Far away from city center, fine if you have your own car or if cab fares are not an issue. Room: Double bed was two singles pushed together, no hot water pot Service: One cold/rude receptionist in particular but otherwise standard Food: Breakfast was satisfactory, would not recommend dinner
The location was excellent and a tour of the Alhambra was organised by the staff for us. Staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. All in all a really nice place. (The Arab baths were great!)
Location, easy access to the city and highways.
Pricey and the beds were squeezed together since we asked for 1 room for three people.
1. The location of the hotel is good for self-driving travellers; 2. The hotel staff was freindly and helpful; 3. The breakfast of the hotel was very good; 4. The room was clean and comfortable.
1. The hotel should offer an updated address and GPS coordinate. The current ones refer to the residence hehind the hotel
Room was nice and spacious, nice bathroom. Bar area was ok.
Heating did not warm up the room nicely. No tea/coffee making facility which is a shame when staying a bit longer. Spa was awful, there was no sauna, the steam room did not work so was closed and then there were only 3 baths (hot, warm and cold). The spa staff did not speak English so felt completely ripped off to pay €20 to sit around in a coupke of baths when you expect a nice spa experience.
Very friendly & helpful staff, good location for travelling by car. Good choice of food at breakfast.
The location near from alhambra and near fro sierra nevada
Very helpful staff Good connection to the city centre by bus
Long waiting times at the reception
The personal was very friendly and the room was nice.
The spa facilitie wasn't what I was expecting.
Best hotel in ten weeks in Spain. Great staff. Food was great, too
Location was pretty remote. Had to take local bus to city center. But had free pickup for the Alhambra. That's why I booked there.
The hotel manager was very helpful the staff very friendly the rooms were comfortable and very spacious .The upgrade of a terrace with the Double room was excellent Breakfast was very good .
Quiet, Awesome Breakfast, Great Wi-Fi. Bus stop right outside Hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Cant think of anything, apart from its a bit away from the centre, but its only about 10 minute bus ride to town, and the buses were frequent, I think about every 10 minutes.
Easy to locate when driving into Grenada -it's just there at a junction! We were able to walk into the city -a good 20 mins or so- to explore and eat in the evening. Tried to use the bus which stops outside -make sure you have change! We didnt and had to get off at the next stop! We also walked up to the Alhambra. Do not miss this! We had checked on-line a few days before and were disappointed that there were no tickets available to actually enter the palaces . But once there -no problem to buy on the day! Do not join the long "cash payment" queue. Simply go over to the credit card payment booths where there are no queues!
Everything was good.
Close to the Alhambra - note that you need to drive but it's only 5 mins), Plenty of parking options
Far from everything else apart from the Alhambra but that's Granada
