The Monjas del Carmen is in a pedestrian street in central Granada, next to Plaza Nueva and the Moorish Albayzín Quarter. All soundproofed rooms have a flat-screen satellite TV and a laptop safe.

In Granadas historic quarter, this charming hotel has been lovingly refurbished from a beautiful, historic town house.

This early 17th-century monastery is next to the Genil River, just 1000 ft from Granada Convention Center. There is free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV in all rooms.
Score from 518 reviews Very good
Loved the location - within walking distance of so many points of interest.
The bathroom as immaculately clean, but the bedroom looked a little grubby and well used, even though it was clean.
Very very lots of people and traffic noise nearly all night
The hotel is situated only a small walk from the centre of Granada and all the facilities.
The double glazed windows didn't close such that the noise from the bars was very loud. It is also very difficult to arrive by car as the street is always closed nearly all day. As I booked their car parking, they should have given me instructions on how to overcome the road system.
This hotel is conveniently located with many patisseries and restaurants and buses stops to Alhambra and other sites are in proximity.
This hotel is not well kept , it has a smell of old , worn out place. Especially blankets and pillows do not smell good. I had to put towels on my pillow to get rid of the smell.
Location, very helpful on desk
Room a bit dark
Bar and lounge were quite stark - not very welcoming. Breakfast was basic
If you want to be in walking distance of everything its perfect right on the grand via so expect traffic noise but dint bother us as the location made up for that. Staff very helpful
Location. Breakfast. Comfort.
Few electric sockets in the room. You either recharge your phone or watch TV.
Location, value of mony
Staff is super friendly and useful Location is great Cost is very reasonable
Location is good
Wifi was down for half d'Ay then It worked perfect
The breakfast was excellent!
old hotel, not very clean room
Great location and the staff were able to get me Alhambra tickets last minute. The room is very, very small but comfortable for one person.
I understood that breakfast was included and it was not. I think it should be. The sheets were not changed in 3 days.
Close to the city center (few steps from the Cathedral) Car parking
desing from 1970's
LOVED this hotel. Facilities were incredible. Location was perfect. Staff got me Alhambra tickets on no notice. Wish I could have stayed longer.
The location on Gran Via, close to city hall, as well as shopping and eating areas of Granada.
The personnel did not warn us of the Semana Santa procession at the church nearby and the blocking of the street due to this. So we got stuck doing nothing for 2 hours because we could not get through the crowd gathered in front of the church with the car.
Location couldn't be better!
Small room but for the price not complaining! The only complaint is that they charge you 2.50 euros to use the safe.
Very well located right on the Gran Via and 7 Euro taxi ride from the train station.Good stepping board for all the sightseeing in Granada.Bus stops for most of the important places are near the hotel. For the price you pay you can't expect anything better.
The rooms were very clean and looked great. The front desk was extremely helpful and even brought out suitcases up to our room for us. Great experience.
Our room was facing the main street so it got a little loud at night.
small room , tatty , too expensive, but great position.
Stylish, clean, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good beds, rooms were comfortable.
Reading light was not working and they could not fix it at the time. They tried to give me a lamp so I could read but the extension cord was not long enough.
Excellent location, underground carpark, great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.
Room was painted a dirty shade of yellow, with two really awful pictures as decoration, lighting was very poor and whoever designed the bedhead had never tried to sit on the bed! Think they need to change interior designers.
Closeness to the older parts of Granada - including the Cathedral. Closeness to public transport to the Alhambra Quiet location God sized room and facilities Informative and helpful staff Ease of parking within hotel
Difficult to find
location was very good and the personnel was very helpful. breakfast was fine.
The rooms were kind of worn out, but in overall the ambience was satisfying.
