The Agumar was very clean and quiet. The restaurant and breakfast staff were not very friendly bordering on rude. The gentleman on the door of the breakfast room was unfriendly and curt.

Very close to the train station which was why we chose it. Comfortable, if slightly impersonal decor. Business hotel. Very helpful and pleasant staff.

A great buffet breakfast was included! They don't offer free wifi or free internet use at their lobby computers. In this day and age, if a hotel can't offer wifi, they should at least offer free internet on their communal computers.

Old hotel, but new inside the rooms. Do not recommend to stay in single room, because I had terrible view from the window and could`t open it. Also didn`t like the smell in the room... Do not recommend to stay in single room, because I had terrible view from the window and could`t open it. Also didn`t like the smell in the room... The staff is not careing about the guests at all. When we were sick by the sea food restarant and hardly could move, I asked for help and advice - they just tald nothing and look at you like on the person who desturb them a lot. Never will come back there.

I have stayed there twice before. It's close to the museums and art galleries. It's also only five minutes walk to Atocha train station so it's handy for a stop-over from the airport to an onward destination within Spain. That was my reason for this last stay. The room I had this time faced a building across a small street where the noise from air-conditioning units was audible. On reporting this in the morning to reception they took notes. Perhaps they will improve the double glazing on that side of the hotel. The staff were supportive which was rather nice.

Convenient for the station and very comfortable. Good breakfasts, but couldn't find any tea in the afternoon. I was confused about paying the bill: I was led to believe that I had paid by providing you with my credit card details on-line beforehand. I was annoyed that your receptionist could not use this to debit my account, as I did not have a working card with me on the day of departure.

The hotel was close to Atocha station where we picked up hire car and also bus to airport. Our room was very quiet, with a lovely large comfy bed. Some of the staff seemed rather grumpy.

Good location, bus stop at the door, 10 min walk from Atocha train station. Staff very friendly. Spacious room. Acustics of the room is not good. We could hear our next door neighbors. That didn't spoil our stay though.

Friendly staff, they gave us the room well before the check-in time. Good location. I would not consider it a 4 star hotel, it looked a bit old inside.

Access to transportation and museums. More fresh fruit on the breakfast buffet would be nice. Also, changing the items available on the buffet breakfast would attract longer stays. The beds were not good.
