I liked the room, the air conditioning, the bed, the view. It was quite comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant had an ample breakfast. Elevators were quite small, and there was no lobby to speak of. The shower glass doors did not close completely and so it was easy for water to spill onto the floor during a shower. |

very good air conditioning, comfortable bed pleasant room with all necessary things such as tv, room safe, adequate wardrobe space The shower was not well maintained and it was difficult to shower without getting water all over floor. The shower cubicle was far too small and could easily have taken up more room in the large bathroom. |

Location excellent, right on the main street. Rooms clean and comfortable. Room service good. Staff polite and spoke English well.Yes, the lifts are small but there are two of them and are very efficient. Originaly allocated rooms with a view of scaffolding and a broken minibar. After two complaints moved by duty manager to excellent room with view of Gran Via. When top man found out, he tried to move us back out but we stuck to our guns and remained, consequently got an unparalleled view of Spanish teams victory parade.that night. |

The few was great Our first few minutes there we went upstairs to eat, and were pretty much agnored by the staff, we weren't sure if we needed to be seated or seat ourselves, after standing there about 15 minutes we left. |

Fantastic Location - 3-5 min walk to Red metro line, and about 7-10 to Green; easy pleasant 10 min stroll to Prado and other museums; close to restaurants -couldn't have been better! Room nicely decorated with luxurious charm; all amenities worked perfectly and room was clean and bright; also, room was well insulated all around so that even though the hotel is just off a main road, very little if any noise from city disturbs, hence, great night's sleep ; Breakfast was wonderful - everything you could want (from juice, fruit, cheese, meats, eggs, cereal, donuts, etc) and in lovely setting on roof of hotel; staff helpful and friendly; Check and Check out very smooth and no problem to store luggage if you have a later flight; A great hotel! |

location was great! staff most of them were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a late check out on my last day (after spending 6 nights). the Front Office manager asked for a 100% charge of 1 night in case we wanted to stay till 5pm. Knowing that occupancy was very low on that day! |

Fantastic location, absolutely perfect for discovering Madrid. Room very comfortable, clean, well soundproofed and air conditioned (vital as was 45 degrees while we were there!). Rooftop terrace lovely for relaxing after a busy day (if you can find a seat). English speaking reception staff very helpful and accomodating. Although the reception staff were very good, on the whole the service was quite poor: waited thirty-five minutes to be served on the rooftop terrace, at breakfast quests had to queue for tables, only one member of staff replenishing goods, seating guests and dealing with queries. Lots of delays all round, expected more/better considering the cost of our stay. |

The hotel room and staff were very nice. The restaurant was wonderful, with excellent food and exceptional service, especially for my 11 year old daughter. The outdoor bar area was also great with beautiful views. |

The 1 bedroom suite was huge, gorgeous, and an excellent price for staying in the city. What you give up for the excellent price is other hotel amenities. So be aware of your hotel needs. The checkin desk/area is understaffed and not good for concierge service. The housekeeping staff while good at cleaning, was inconsistent in providing the bathroom supplies (provided plenty of complimentary travel toothbrushes but forgot to resupply soap after removing our used soap). For our needs, it was still worth these shortcomings for the large, beautiful suite and location. |

Good breakfast in a very nice dining room with a great vue on Madrid. The location is very convenient next to the Puerta del Sol and most of the important museums. Most of Madrid Taxis have never heard about this hotel. The hotel is not well indicated. The decoration of the entrance is very poor and the welcoming experience is rather poor. Such an hotel should have free wifi in each room or at least a business center with free access to the Internet. |

I really appreciated how nice, friendly, and efficient all of the Reception staff were. They were very patient with my limited use of Spanish, and were able to communicate well with me. Also, they were very knowledgeable about the city of Madrid, and answered all of my numerous questions. The cleaning ladies were also wonderful, and everyone was courteous, making the stay very enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location, and the rooms and views are lovely, with a charming restaurant roof terrace. I would definitely stay there again, and highly recommend the hotel. |
