Hotel molt ben ubicat, personal amb molt bon tracte i molt net. Globalment molt recomanable.

Great location, just steps from busy fun Plaza del Sol and Plaza Calle Mayor. While close to the action, it was very quiet. The included breakfast with fruit, meats, cheese and pastries in addition to coffee and juice was excellent. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful -- even ran a phonemessage into my room, so I wouldn't miss it.

There was nothing I really disliked but just noting that the hotel was more business style than charming.

Central location, looked recently refurbished, very clean, good sized room, excellent value (travelled off peak). Staff friendly.

Breakfast basic but adequate.

This hotel is ideally situated for exploring most of the tourist attractions on foot. Reception is friendly and efficent and although we arrived before noon we were able to get our room. This was greatly appreciated after long flight from North America. The room was spotless with a comfortable bed and large marble bathroom. Our room had opening windows and overlooked a quiet courtyard. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and good coffee. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Great hotel location and good value .. had great time .. staff very friendly .. staff spoke english and very helpfull for our day trips.

They allowed us to check in 5 hours early at no extra charge, which was surprising and very kind of them. They responded well to our questions about local attractions. Clean rooms, strong wireless internet connection, a decent breakfast, and a _great_ location. Overall, a great value for the low price we paid. We would stay here again.

The only negative thing I can think of is missing the excursion to Toledo because of a misunderstanding with the staff. I think we were just as much to blame as they were for the misunderstanding, though.

Very clean, nice and big room, very very good breakfast and in excellent position to explore the city.

Maybe the staff of the hotel should learn some English.

We liked mostly the location of the hotel. Breakfast was rather good too. Cleanliness of the room was great. We enjoyed our stay at the II Castillas Madrid.

It was not possible to pre-register for a flight directly at the hotel, and print our boarding pass. I had to go to Internet cafe to register there, then send a letter to the hotel to print out a boarding pass. This is very inconvenient!

The hotel was very central, very close to Sol.

Our room was at the back of the hotel with a window facing the wall of the next building. We asked for a room change but we were told that the hotel was full. However, the breakfast room was almost empty and we thought that the hotel was not full. The staff just didn't want to bother for a room change. The website of the hotel said, there was wi-fi in the rooms, however we couldn't get a signal from our room. We went down to the lobby to get a signal but the lobby was always so noisy. The breakfast was poor. I wish we stayed at another hotel.

Location location location. Free wi-fi. Nice bathrooms. Metrostation near. Clean.

Noisy (from the street and other rooms) - I strongly recomend to choose hte upper floors (>3). Not a great breakfast.

Goog staff.Very good possition to historical places,bars and restorants.I recomend this hotel.
