Hotelli oli keskustassa hyvällä paikalla. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen. Vastaanotossa henkilökunta oli epäkohteliasta ja kaikki TV-kanavat olivat espanjankielisiä. |

Quiet place, no streetnoice, still in the center of the city, metro near. Friendly, easy, good breakfast (please, remain the spanish tortilla!)... I could come again. Suomeksi: hyvä äänieristys, vaikka keskellä kaikkea. Metro on likellä, pääsee kaikkialle, eikä ole pitkä kävelymatka. Aamiainen on sama, mutta meikäläiselle riittävä, kahvi myös ok, jos pitää tummasta kahvista. Vuode ok. Tänne voisin tulla uudelleen. |

Hotelli sijaitsi aivan keskustassa, josta oli helppo kulkuyhteys kävellen kaikkialle. Metro asema oli myös aivan nurkan takana jos halusi lähteä pidemmälle. Vaikka hotelli oli aivan keskustan hulinassa, oli hotellin katu rauhallinen sekä viihtyisä. Hotellin henkilökunta olivat todella mukavia ja halukkaita vastaamaan kysymyksiin sekä opastamaan kaupungilla liikkumaan. |

The hotel locates very close to the Plaze de Sol, in the city center. Very convenient to walk around or take the metro. Room is very clean and air conditioner works well. Good value for money. |

Very good location, moderate sized and attractive rooms, we were surprised at how good this hotel was for its price. The breakfast was abundant and of high quality, and the internet connection was superb. We would certainly come here again, and recommend it to other people. I don't generally pay much attention to television, although I did notice that the range of international (and/or english speaking) channels was minimal. All of the channels represented Spanish based stations. A minor quible also related to the reception, where the staff could have been more friendly. |

Very good overall, location, rooms, stuff, except from the Wifi which did not work all the time. If it is a must for you you could reconsider. Problems with the Wifi, they made some effort to have them fixed but they returned, everything else was very satisfoctory. |

The hotel is very good situated in the center of Madrid, between 2 metro stations, nice and easy to reach all Madrid's destinations. Sequrity is well organazed, rooms are comfortable. The restoran's staff is too strickt. |

Hotel is good, great location and had all we needed. We would go back there. Breakfast was good but the coffee was terrible. They sould give an option to get coffee from the hotel restaurant, which has a good coffee machine. I went to fetch my own coffee before entering the breakfast room. |

The hotel location is great, very close to Sol, 5-8 mins walk. Surrounding by various shops and dept stores and also close to Gran Via. Convenience for shopping and dining. |

The man who worked at the reception desk was very helpful as we checked in. After inquiring about the bull fight in Madrid he offered to arrange for a tour bus to pick us up at our hotel, take us on a tour and bring us to the the bull fight. We ended up declining the offer but it was still helpful of him to offer. He also arranged for a cab driver to pick us up early the following morning to bring us to the airport for an early morning flight. We choose to stay at the II Castillas Madrid after reading about it's excellent location, etc. I would have to say that the location was kind of a miss for us. It was easy enough to access by Metro from the train station (Madrid Atocha). However, the side street leading to the hotel was not particularly clean and kind of turned us off before even arriving at the hotel. The room was fairly clean overall but the blood stain on one pillow and a stain on the other pillowcase were kind of gross. My husband and I were in Madrid for less than 24 hours and so the hotel was fine for that time span but I would not recommend this hotel to a friend and would not stay there again. |
