The location was perfect for us, and the price very reasonable especially as it included a good buffet breakfast. Also given a room with a large terrace. Would stay again. |

We were very pleasantly surprised, whilst tucked in a back street, it really could not be any more central, 3 minute walk to Prt del Sol. The hotel was superbly furnished and our room was 5 star standard. Breakfast was first class. Graffiti to walls on next door building should be painted out on a regular basis. |

I liked everything at Maria Elena Palace, the beautiful room, the location, the breakfast and a lady receptionist who was very helpful.Great value for money! I will always stay there in Madrid. I didn`t like that I didn`t stay there more...but they could have more tables in the breakfast room.Sometimes, people must wait too much. |

Breakfasts were very good, the central location excellent and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room looked out over a central well which was unattractive and was overlooked by rooms on the other side. |

The hotel's location is fantastic few meters to Madrid centre. My room was very noisy and during the night noisiness started to be unbearable. |

Good location. Breakfast was't good (except the freshly sqeezed orange juice) and it started at 7.30 am, it is far too late. |

The location. The only problem is that my room was over air-conditioning system and thus a little noisy. |

Very well situated, with all tourist locations (museums, galleries, old town, squares, etc) within easy walking distance. Hotel modern and bright, albeit on a narrow street and looks nothing much from outside. However, rooms are bright and airy, and most (including ours) face onto a quiet internal courtyard. Breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, but some concerns that hot food (bacon, mushrroms, sausage, egg, etc) was barely more than lukewarm |
