God service i receptionen, kolde Carlsberg i minibaren, badekar, fri internet der faktisk virker, god seng, behagelige omgivelser, ok pris

Håndklædetørrer kørte på fuld tryk i 2 døgn, til trods for at der var 32 grader udenfor og aircondition-anlægget arbejdede på at holde temperaturen nede. Vel ikke ligefrem energioptimalt eller bæredygtigt?

We had a clean large room and enjoyed the views from the two sun decks. Great central location. Also found the staff restaurant recommendations and tourist information helpful.

We really enjoyed The Vincci Capitol hotel!! Super location! We took the metro from the airport and in 30 min. we were in the middle of the city and the metro stops in front of the hotel so that was really good. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpfull everyday we received a new city map and they advise us for restaurants etc. The hotelrooms are very clean, enough space and very modern design in the room and the hallway and the rest of the hotel, also the restaurant has a nice design. You are already in the middle of the shopping centre!! When you walk out side you have all the brands there. Its also near all the tourist spots all walking distance, So all with all Yes we are very happy we choose this hotel!

Yes Breakfast because there was no choice in foods! Only bread and cheese - We advise to just take ur breakfast outside of the hotel, So many good restaurants & cafes - cheaper & nicer & better!

The hotel is in a great location and the stuff were very friendly and speaking english!

This hotel was very centrally located in Madrid. Easy access to all major shopping and site-seeing. Even though it is located on the main street in Madrid the rooms were sound-proofed so that you were not bothered by the traffic.

Bathroom (two separate areas) in the corner rooms were small.

Location

I do not find this hotel and hotel staff friendly to those who do not speak Spanish. Bed was not comfortable, there were only 4 TV channels that is spoken in English and all of them were re-run of news, room did not have good lighting and pretty small. Front desk staff were not helpful at all - felt it the minute I checked in until the time I had to leave. It was the worst experience I've had when it comes to hotel staff in all the European countries I've visited.

Internet in the room (we were given an intrnet cable to connect our laptop on the Internet). Note: without a laptop, you can get Internet on the TV screen, but it costs!!!. Room design was something new for us, but this is not an important factor, we think.

Their TV system: it has to be simpler to use. Clarify there are rooms with no view on Gran Via.

The location was excellant. The bedroom had air conditioning and we enjoyed the choice of buffet breakfast.

Central position of Hotel

No heating. Plus staff directed us wrongly when we wanted to go to the Madrid Open Tennis Tournament.

We enjoyed Madrid very much as we hadn't visited the city before. The highlights were the Royal Palace, Catedral de la Almudena and Museo del Prado. Other worthwhile ventures were a walkink tour of the east Madrid including the Plaza Mayor and just beyond the fantastic restored old market. The best "tapas" and wine I have ever come across. The Red tourist bus is also well worth while.

Not so much the hotel but I think you should know of the taxi booked by the hotel. The tourist information office at the airport told me on arrival that the taxi should not be any more that 30 Euro and in fact it was only 27 Euro, plus a tip. However the driver of the taxi booked by the hotel to take us to the airport asked me for 45 Euro. When I told him the taxi for the same journey three days earlier was only 27 Euro he got very upset. I told him I was only prepared to pay 40 Euro. He then asked for " something for himself'! I told his there was not. I was in room 608 and the taxi was booked for 08-00 and we were in the taxi on time , the journey time was 26 minutes.
